Background: Sp1, a transcription factor, regulates essential cellular processes and plays important tumorigenic roles across diverse cancers. However, comprehensive pan-cancer analyses of its expression and potential immunomodulatory roles remain unexplored.
Methods: Utilizing bioinformatics tools and public datasets, we examined the expression of Sp1 across normal tissues, tumors, and immune cells, and screened for pre- and post-transcriptional modifications, including genetic alterations, DNA methylation, and protein phosphorylation, affecting its expression or function.
Although white matter (WM) accounts for nearly half of adult brain, its wiring diagram is largely unknown. Here, an approach is developed to construct WM networks by estimating interregional morphological similarity based on structural magnetic resonance imaging. It is found that morphological WM networks showed nontrivial topology, presented good-to-excellent test-retest reliability, accounted for phenotypic interindividual differences in cognition, and are under genetic control.

In this work, a fluorescence immunoassay based on horseradish peroxidase-labeled IgG (HRP-IgG)-modified gold nanoparticle (AuNP@HRP-IgG) probe was established for detection of ochratoxin A (OTA). Through the catalysis of HRP, the dopamine (DA) and 1,5-dihydroxynaphthalene (DHA) can rapidly generate azamonardine fluorescence compound (AFC) with intense yellow fluorescence. Large amounts of AFC can be formed within 4 min, which led to fluorescence enhancement at 545 nm.

The present study describes the case of a 30-year-old woman who developed gastric and thyroid metastases 5 years after her initial diagnosis of invasive ductal breast carcinoma.
