Aim: To explore the clinical efficacy of percutaneous vertebroplasty (PVP) combined with the polymethyl methacrylate-gelatin sponge (PMMA-GS) complex in the treatment of patients with osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures (OVCFs) accompanied by superior endplate injuries MATERIAL and METHODS: A total of 77 OVCF patients with superior endplate injuries who were treated with PVP from January 2017 to December 2020 were retrospectively analyzed. The visual analogue scale (VAS) score, Oswestry disability index (ODI), and injured vertebral height ratio at one day (1d) before surgery, three days (3d) after surgery, and one year (1y) after surgery were compared between both groups. Besides, the surgical duration, PMMA (polymethyl methacrylate) injection volume, PMMA leakage rate, and adjacent vertebral fracture rate were compared between these two groups.

However, the gait alterations in KOA patients after PFO are still poorly understood. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the gait patterns change in patients of medial compartment KOA after PFO.

Thus, this study aimed to explore the prognosis and risk factors of male BC with bone metastasis.
Patients And Methods: We searched the Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER) database to identify all patients diagnosed with male BC with bone metastasis from 2010 to 2016.
Objective: To compare the clinical efficacy under local anesthesia and general anesthesia proximal femoral nail anti-rotation(PFNA) fixation for intertrochanteric fracture of femur in high risk patients.
Methods: From February 2018 to February 2019, 32 patients underwent PFNA operation due to intertrochanteric fracture of femur, including 16 patients undergoing PFNA operation under local anesthesia, 9 males and 7 females, aged 54 to 98 (82.43±9.
The current study aimed to investigate the role of miR-27a in intervertebral disc degeneration (IDD) and to examine the underlying mechanisms. Quantitative polymerase chain reaction (qPCR) was performed to detect the expression level of miR-27a in the nucleus pulposus (NP) tissues of patients with IDD, and the results revealed an increasing expression of miR-27a in IDD compared with the control. To further investigate the role of miR-27a in IDD, a stable human NP cell line with low miR-27a expression was generated by transfecting cells with a lentiviral antigomiR-27a inhibitor.

Aim: To investigate the cytotoxicity of human γδT cells from PBMCs stimulated by zoledronate against osteosarcoma cell line HOS in vitro and in vivo and evaluate the relavent pathways.
Methods: The peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs)of healthy donors were stimulated by single dose zoledronate and cultured in the present of IL-2 for two weeks, analysising the percentage of γδT cells on a FACSCalibur cytometer.Study the cytotoxicity of γδT cells against the osteosarcoma line HOS using LDH release assay kit.
