In this paper, the effects of surface roughness and wettability on the leakage performance of static seals were highlighted. The results show that the leakage rate is negatively correlated with the contact pressure and positively correlated with surface roughness. Surface wettability affects leakage performance.

The complete treatment of high grade invasive glioblastoma (GBM) remains to be a great challenge, and it is of great importance to develop innovative therapeutic approaches. Herein, we found that GBM derived from U87 MG cells is a glutamine-addiction tumor, and jointly using glutamine-starvation therapy and photo-enhanced chemodynamic therapy (CDT) can significantly boost its therapy. We rationally fabricated tumor cell membrane coated CuSe nanoparticles (CS NPs) and an inhibitor of glutamine metabolism (Purpurin) for combined therapy, because glutamine rather than glucose plays a crucial role in the proliferation and growth of GBM cells, and serves as a precursor for the synthesis of glutathione (GSH).

Chemo-/radioresistance is the most important reason for the failure of glioblastoma (GBM) treatment. Reversing the chemo-/radioresistance of GBM for boosting therapeutic efficacy is very challenging. Herein, we report a significant decrease in the chemo-/radioresistance of GBM by the generation of SO within a tumor, which was released on demand from the prodrug 5-amino-1,3-dihydrobenzo[]thiophene 2,2-dioxide (ATD) loaded on rare-earth-based scintillator nanoparticles (, NaYF:Ce@NaLuF:Nd@ATD@DSPE-PEG, ScNPs) under X-ray irradiation.
