SWI/SNF-related, matrix-associated, actin-dependent regulator of chromatin subfamily C member 1 (SMARCC1), a component of the SWI/SNF complex, is thought to be an oncogene in several kinds of cancer. The potential interaction between SMARCC1 and KPNA2 was inquired by Spearman's correlation analysis, immunofluorescence staining and co-immunoprecipitation (Co-IP) assays. The immunohistochemistry staining, RT-PCR and western blot assay were taken for determining the expression levels of SMARCC1.

Recently, the function of family with sequence similarity 107 member A (FAM107A) has been reported in several carcinomas. This study aimed to reveal the potential role of FAM107A in bladder cancer.

Methods: The hMSC and transforming growth factor-β1 (TGFβ-1) gene infected hMSC were co-cultured with hepatoma cells. The ability of cells migration was assessed by Transwell assay.
Colorectal cancer is one of the commonest of solid malignancy in the world. Activating transcription factor 3 (ATF3), a homolog of the mouse TI-241 and rat LFR-1, is a stress responsive gene that has been widely indicated in different malignancies. However, the role of ATF3 in colon cancer is paradoxical with both a suggested pro- and anti-tumorigenic role.

In this case report, the authors described a woman who presented with subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) and left posterior cerebral artery (PCA) territory ischemic stroke. Cerebral angiography revealed a left PCA aneurysm at the P1-P2 junction.

The purpose of this study was to observe the progress of RA in rats with 18F-fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG) positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT), magnetic resonance (MR) imaging and arthritis score, and analyze the relationships among different methods in evaluation of RA.

The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of hMSC engraftment on HCC tissues in nude mouse models, and assess the effect on metastatic potential of HCC.
Methods: hMSCs were engrafted into the nude mouse models of high metastatic HCC via the tail vein.
Background: Quantitative T2 mapping has been a widely used method for the evaluation of pathological cartilage properties, and the histological assessment system of osteoarthritis in the rabbit has been published recently. The aim of the study was to investigate the effectiveness of quantitative T2 mapping evaluation for articular cartilage lesions of a rabbit model of anterior cruciate ligament transection (ACLT) osteoarthritis.
Methods: Twenty New Zealand White (NZW) rabbits were divided into ACLT surgical group and sham operated group equally.
Rationale And Objectives: This study was designed to develop a novel magnetic resonance (MR) probe for the antigen OC183B2 in ovarian cancer cells and investigate its imaging features in vitro and in vivo.
Materials And Methods: Molecular probes were achieved through ultrasmall superparamagnetic iron oxide nanoparticles (USPIOs) conjugated to ovarian cancer monoclonal antibodies 183B2 (OCMab183B2) using a chemical method. In the control group, USPIOs were coupled with murine immunoglobulin G (mIgG) and conjugated the same way.
Objective: To evaluate the efficacy of compound Dixiong Decoction (地芎汤, a Chinese herbal decoction) on early prevention of radiation pneumonitis.
Methods: Forty-six patients with non-small cell lung cancer who were planning to receive radiotherapy were randomly assigned to the treatment group treated with the compound Dixiong Decoction and the control group treated with a commonly used herbal decoction which has the effects of supplementing qi and nourishing yin, clearing heat and detoxifying at the time of radiotherapy. Primary measure was the incidence of radiation pneumonitis after radiotherapy.
