Objective: The objective of this study was to search for, evaluate, and summarize data related to a faster postoperative recovery in patients with colorectal cancer (CRC) based on literature from China as well as internationally. This will serve as an evidence-based foundation for the clinical implementation of enhanced postoperative recovery of gastrointestinal function in patients with CRC.
Methods: Based on the hierarchical "6S" evidence model, we conducted a systematic search of computerized decision-support systems, guideline websites, as well as domestic and international databases for evidence, guidelines, expert consensus statements, clinical decision-making, best practices, evidence summaries, and systematic reviews of interventions focusing on accelerating gastrointestinal function rehabilitation after CRC surgery.
Epigenetic clocks are accurate predictors of human chronological age based on the analysis of DNA methylation (DNAm) at specific CpG sites. However, a systematic comparison between DNA methylation data and other omics datasets has not yet been performed. Moreover, available DNAm age predictors are based on datasets with limited ethnic representation.

We established a comprehensive nutritional index (CNI) and evaluated its prognostic value for overall survival (OS) and time to progression (TTP).
Methods And Study Design: HCC patients (N=282) who underwent multiple TACE treatments were enrolled.
Objective: Colorectal cancer (CRC) is one of the most common malignant tumors in the digestive tract, which accounts for 10% of all the malignant tumors in the world. The aim of this study was to identify key genes and miRNAs in CRC diagnosis, prognosis, and therapy and to further explore the potential molecular mechanisms of CRC.
Methods: The infiltration and metastasis of neutrophils in primary colorectal cancer tissue and paracancerous tissue were observed by immunohistochemical staining.
Rationale: Patients with gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GISTs) are often found to have liver metastases at their 1st presentation. Most patients need preoperative treatment to reduce the size of the liver metastases to increase the possibility of surgical resection. Currently, imatinib mesylate is the drug of 1st choice for preoperative treatment and sunitinib malate (SM) is seldom used.

However, the role of TRA haplotype polymorphisms in the symptomatic diversity of narcolepsy remains unclear. This study aimed to investigate whether TRA polymorphisms can influence the symptomatic diversity of narcolepsy.

Objective: To investigate the inhibitory effects of apatinib on colorectal carcinoma HCT-116 cells in vitro and the signaling pathways involved.
Methods: The cytotoxicity of different concentrations (0, 0.5, 1, 1.
A new coumarin, anisucoumaramide (1), and a new δ-truxinate derivative, anisumic acid (2), were isolated from Clausena anisum-olens. Their structures were elucidated from extensive NMR and MS data. The absolute configurations of the coumarins were assigned using the experimental and calculated electronic circular dichroism data.

The present study reports the case of a patient with a rare manifestation of pneumothorax, pneumomediastinum, pneumoperitoneum and extensive subcutaneous emphysema that resulted from an endoscopic mucosal resection following a colonoscopy of the rectum. Only 3 cases of colonic perforation and 1 case of rectal perforation have been described previously, of which the clinical diagnoses and treatments were varied, and no results of follow-up studies were reported.

This study examined the demographic and clinical profile of EOD (<=25 years) compared to LOD (>25 years) in China.
Methods: A consecutively recruited sample of 1178 patients with MDD was assessed in 13 psychiatric hospitals or psychiatric units of general hospitals in China nationwide.
Purpose: Little is known about gender differences associated with major depressive disorder (MDD) in China. This study examined gender differences associated with other demographic and clinical characteristics and psychotropic drug treatment in Chinese patients with MDD.
Methods: A total of 1178 patients with MDD from 13 psychiatric hospitals or psychiatric units of general hospitals in China nationwide were enrolled.
Objectives: This study was designed to obtain the knowledge about TEG indexes distribution in Chinese aged people, as well as to test the hypothesis that previous TEG indexes are associated with the subsequent thromboembolic and bleeding events in the aged population.
Methods: We conducted a two-year follow-up study in Chinese PLA General Hospital, Beijing, China. 403 aged people were enrolled in our study.
Objective: Bipolar disorder (BD) is frequently misdiagnosed as major depressive disorder (MDD), which may lead to inappropriate treatment and poor outcomes. This study aimed to examine prescribing patterns of antidepressants, antipsychotics and mood stabilizers in BD patients misdiagnosed with MDD in China.
Methods: A total of 1487 patients originally diagnosed with MDD were consecutively screened for diagnostic revision in 13 psychiatric hospitals or psychiatric units of general hospitals in China nationwide.
Background: Little has been known about the demographic and clinical features of the melancholic subtype of major depressive disorder (MDD) in Chinese patients. This study examined the frequency of melancholia in Chinese MDD patients and explored its demographic and clinical correlates and prescribing patterns of psychotropic drugs.
Methods: A consecutively collected sample of 1,178 patients with MDD were examined in 13 psychiatric hospitals or psychiatric units of general hospitals in China nationwide.
