Under the vision of the 'dual-carbon' goal, land-use changes and their impact on carbon stocks are studied,to providing a reference for regional carbon balance. Taking the Beibu Gulf Economic Zone of Guangxi as an example, based on the data on land use and carbon density, the PLUS and InVEST models were applied to analyze the pattern of land use change from 1980 to 2020, simulate the spatial pattern of land use under three scenarios in 2030, and assess the carbon stock and its spatial and temporal change characteristics during the 50 years. The results show that: (1) From 1980 to 2020, the land use type of Guangxi Beibu Gulf Economic Zone was dominated by forest land, but the construction land continued to expand, and a large number of other land types were occupied.

Circulating tumor cells (CTCs), a potential marker for real-time tumor monitoring, are limited in clinical utility due to the low sensitivity of existing detection methods. Previously, we introduced a novel nano-based CTCs detection method that relies on the electrical properties of cell surfaces, thus eliminating the need for specific molecular biomarkers.

Objectives: Patients with chronic phase CML receiving frontline imatinib treatment.
Glioma is the most common primary brain tumor, and targeting glioma stem cells (GSCs) has become a key aspect of glioma treatment. In this study, we discovered a molecular network in which circRNA forms an R-loop structure with its parental gene to regulate the biological behavior of GSCs. Genes with abnormal expression in GSCs were screened using RNA-seq and circRNA microarray analyses.

Traditionally, the patterning of QLEDs relies on resin-based photolithography techniques, requiring multiple steps and causing performance deterioration. Nondestructive direct patterning may provide an easy and stepwise method to achieve fine-pixelated units in QLEDs.

Objective: To explore the safety and effectiveness of the "scarless" circumcision technique (a modified sleeve-style circumcision method) that preserves the original appearance, providing a more suitable surgical option for patients with redundant prepuce.
Methods: Clinical data of patients who underwent "scarless" circumcision at the Eastern Theater Command General Hospital from April 2022 to March 2023 were collected, with patients who underwent conventional circumcision (single-use stapler method) during the same period serving as the control group. The two groups were compared in terms of operation time, postoperative recovery time, incidence of postoperative complications, and patient satisfaction rates after surgery.
Citronella and Nutmeg are two common spices used for seasoning and medicinal purposes, both of which have significant economic value. This study aimed to investigate whether Citronella essential oil and Nutmeg essential oil (NEO) can ameliorate monosodium urate (MSU)-induced gouty arthritis in rats and the potential mechanisms. The results showed that CEO and NEO reduced swelling and redness at joint sites, inhibited neutrophil infiltration, and limited proinflammatory mediator secretion in mice with MSU-induced gouty arthritis.

Here, we present a bionic nanofluidic system based on two-dimensional (2D) copper tetra-(4-carboxyphenyl) porphyrin framework (Cu-TCPP). The inherent nanoporous structure and horizontal interlayer channels endow the Cu-TCPP membrane with ultrahigh ion permeability and allow for a power density of 16.
