Ferron colorimetric method has been widely used in aluminum speciation analysis. However, some important factors that may affect the accurate determination of mononuclear Al concentration have not been studied yet. Using molar absorption coefficient ε as a key indicator, the critical issues in Al-Ferron coloring reaction system have been investigated experimentally in this paper, including different Ferron system, Ferron solubility, experimental temperature, ionic strength and the reference system.

Materials And Methods: A total of 96 clinical stage T₁a N₀ M₀ NSCLC cases received radical surgery were randomly divided to lobe-specific mediastinal lymphadenectomy (LL) group and systematic mediastinal lymphadenectomy (SL) group from the year 2004 to 2008. The effects of SL and LL on morbidity, N staging, overall survival (OS) and disease-free survival (DFS) were investigated.
Background: The outcome of surgical treatment of non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC) remains poor. In many patients the biological behavior of NSCLC does not follow a definite pattern, and can not be accurately predicted before treatment. (18)F-fluoro-2-deoxy-glucose ((18)F-FDG) uptake on positron-emission tomography (PET) is associated with the aggressiveness of NSCLC.

A theoretical study on the polyamic acid (PAA) and its derivatives with different side chain (GPAA1-4) by semi-empirical PM3 is presented in this paper. After optimization, the authors get their balanceable geometric configurations. For all optimal geometric configurations, there is no imaginary frequency in vibrational analysis, which proves that the geometric configurations are stable.
