TiO is a promising anode material for lithium-ion batteries (LIBs) due to its low cost, suitable operating voltage, and excellent structural stability. The inherent poor electron conductivity and low ion diffusion coefficient, however, severely limit its application in lithium storage. Here, Co-doped TiO is synthesized by a hydrothermal method as an anode material since Co@TiO possesses a large specific surface area and high electronic conductivity.

Article Synopsis
  • The study aimed to examine the levels of DAB2IP protein in bladder transitional cell carcinoma (BTCC) and its relation to clinical features and patient prognosis.
  • It used immunohistochemical staining on tissue samples from 79 BTCC cases and 11 normal bladder cases, analyzing the connection between DAB2IP levels and factors like cancer stage, grade, and survival rates.
  • Results showed that lower DAB2IP expression in BTCC tissue correlated with higher grade and metastasis, and patients with higher DAB2IP levels had better 3-year survival rates, suggesting DAB2IP is crucial in inhibiting BTCC progression.

The scope of this research lies in diagnosis of bladder cancer through Raman spectra. The spectra of bladder cancer and normal bladder were measured by using laser confocal Raman micro-spectroscopy. Principal component analysis/support vector machines was applied to the spectral dataset to construct diagnostic algorithms, then to detect the accuracy of these algorithms to determine histological diagnosis by leave-one-out cross validation from its Raman spectrum.
