The field of pneumatic soft robotics is on the rise. However, most pneumatic soft robots still heavily rely on rigid valves and conventional electronics for control, which detracts from their natural flexibility and adaptability. Efforts have focused on substituting electronic controllers with pneumatic counterparts to address this limitation.

The comfort level of outdoor thermal environments is affected by several factors. Previous studies of thermal comfort have generally investigated the main microclimatic factors as dependent variables, such as the temperature, wind speed, humidity, and thermal radiation, but the influence of the air quality has rarely been explored. In this study, we acquired meteorological element observations and conducted questionnaire surveys in Peach Blossom Park, Hebei University of Technology, and Xigu Park in Tianjin.

The following study analyzed the composition and differences in Mycobacterium tuberculosis (M.tb) lineage and specific tags to distinguish the lineage of the M.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFBackground: China ranks second in the incidence of tuberculosis (TB), and the virulence and infectivity of () in different lineages are different. The variation of virulence genes in the regions of difference (RD) may be the reason for differences in pathogenicity. Studying the relationship between virulence gene mutations in the RD region of clinical strains of and TB relapse can provide basic data for the study of TB prevention and control.

With the continuous advances of high-throughput gene sequencing technology and computer data mining technology, researchers can understand liver cancer based on the current accumulation of gene expression data and clinical information.
Methods: We downloaded the TCGA data of liver cancer on the cancer-related website (https://genome-cancer.
Catalysis using earth abundant metals is an important goal due to the relative scarcity and expense of precious metal catalysts. It would be even more beneficial to use earth abundant catalysts for the synthesis of common pharmaceutical structural motifs such as pyrrolidine and pyridine. Thus, developing titanium catalysts for asymmetric ring closing hydroamination is a valuable goal.

Due to the limitations of traditional drug treatments, it is difficult to achieve the desired therapeutic effect of complete removal. However, targeted gene therapy may be a novel means of treating skin cancer, as the targeted nature of treatment may improve therapeutic outcomes.

However, it remains unclear whether LDM has potential molecular targets that may affect its antitumor activity. Enhancer of zeste homolog 2 (EZH2) functions as a histone lysine methyltransferase and mediates trimethylation on histone 3 lysine 27 (H3K27me3).

Methods: A prospective cohort study of IgG4-RD was carried out in Peking Union Medical College Hospital between 2011 and 2013. Patients with newly diagnosed IgG4-RD were enrolled.
Objective: To observe the effects of transcutaneous electrical acupoint stimulation (TEAS) combined with general anesthesia or controlled hypotension on hippocampal neuronal damage and the inflammatory response in peripheral circulation and central nervous system (CNS) after surgery, and to investigate its brain protection mechanism.
Methods: Eighteen healthy male beagles aged 6 - 8 months were randomly divided into a general anesthesia group (group G), a controlled hypotension group (group C) and a compound anesthesia acupuncture group (group A), 6 cases in each group. Dogs in group G was anesthetized by isoflurane inhalation, and group C was combined with intravenous infusion of sodium nitroprusside based on isoflurane inhalation to induce hypotension, and followed surgery after achieving the target blood pressure, and group A was combined with TEAS at "Quchi" (LI 11), "Hegu" (LI 4) "Zu sanli" (ST 36) and "Sanyinjiao" (SP 6) based on controlled hypotension, and then brain tissue was taken out on the 72 h after mean arterial pressure (MAP) was returned to baseline levels.

Aim: To investigate the effect of Tangweian Jianji (TWAJJ) on the biomechanical and morphometrical remodeling of the upper gastrointestinal tract in diabetic rats.
Methods: Diabetes was induced in 27 rats by injecting streptozotocin (40 mg/kg body weight), the animals were then divided into three groups (n = 9 in each group), i.e.
Objective: To observe the impact of inducing the formation of the post-moxibustion sore on the efficacy of bronchial asthma treated with scarring moxibustion.
Methods: Three hundred and seventy-two cases diag nosed definitely as bronchial asthma at remission stage were randomly divided into a modified nursing group (248 cases) and a conventional nursing group (124 cases). The scarring moxibustion was applied at Dazhui (GV 14), Feishu (BL 13), Danzhong (CV 17) and Tiantu (CV 22) in either group.
A permanent increase in acute-phase serum amyloid A (A-SAA) level is observed in obesity and insulin resistance. Recently, A-SAA has been shown to correlate with obesity and insulin resistance in human. However, what triggers A-SAA up-regulation is poorly understood, and the mechanism of elevated A-SAA to insulin resistance has not been elucidated.

It is indicated that at the present, paying attention to treatment and underestimating diagnosis exit in acupuncture and moxibustion clinic, with the tendency of simplification in acupuncture and moxibustion treatment. The importance of TCM diagnosis and combined diagnosis of TCM clinic and western medicine, and the methods for increasing clinically diagnostic level were studies. It is put forward that increasing clinical diagnostic level of acupuncture and moxibustion is very important, which directly influences development of acupuncture and moxibustion sciences and increase of the therapeutic effect of acupuncture and moxibustion, so ought to pay great attention to and actively probe effective resolving methods.

We took the unit discharges of the neurons in the posterior group of thalamic nuclei (PO) caused by stimulating the great splanchnic nerve (GSN) as an indicator of visceral pain. We searched for the effects of electrical stimulating central nucleus of amygdala (AC), lateral nucleus of amygdala (AL), bed nucleus of striae terminalis (BNST) and lateral area of hypothalmus (AHL) on unit discharges of PO and the relationship among these nucleuses. The result indicated that the inhibitory effects were strongest with stimulating AC, the next was with stimulating AHL, then BNST and AL.
