Rare-earth (RE) metals are known as industrial vitamins and show significant regulatory effects in many fields. In this work, we first demonstrated that the vitamin effect of RE metals can also be applied to extreme ultraviolet (EUV) lithography. Using a SnRE oxo cluster as the universal platform, different individual RE metal ions were successfully doped to obtain a series of isomorphic heterometallic clusters (RE = Y, Sm, Eu, Ho, Er).

However, the biomechanical effects of this procedure on patellofemoral joints (PFJs) remain unclear. We aimed to quantify the changes in the kinematics and cartilage conditions of the PFJ during stair climbing before and after OWHTO.

A total of 33 patients with nystagmus who had nystagmus surgery from October 2020 to July 2021 were enrolled and all were fitted RGPCL. SPSS statistical software was used to analyze the difference between best-corrected visual acuity with spectacle(BCSVA) and best-corrected visual acuity with RGPCL (BCRVA) in these patients.

This systematic review and meta-analysis aimed to evaluate whether video laryngoscopy could improve the clinical outcomes of emergency tracheal intubation.
Methods: We searched the PubMed, Embase, Scopus and Cochrane databases up to 5 September 2024.
Background: Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS) or its earlier stage Acute lung injury (ALI), is a worldwide health concern that jeopardizes human well-being. Currently, the treatment strategies to mitigate the incidence and mortality of ARDS are severely restricted. This limitation can be attributed, at least in part, to the substantial variations in immunity observed in individuals with this syndrome.

Methods: The morphology, wound healing rate of the wounds and Ki67 positive rate in mouse wound healing models were assessed by H&E staining and immunohistochemistry (IHC). The binding of IGF2BP2 and SPARC was verified by RNA pull-down.
Acne vulgaris caused by antibiotic-resistant () infection is difficult to treat conventionally. Phages have been suggested as a potential solution, but research on the mechanism of phage treatment is inadequate. This research investigates the underlying molecular mechanisms of phage φPaP11-13 attenuating -induced inflammation in rat models.

Background: The incidence rate of hepatoblastoma (HB), which is the most prevalent malignant tumour among children, rises each year. According to recent studies, a number of neoplastic disorders and ferroptosis are intimately connected. This study aims to identify key ferroptosis-related genes in HB and explore new directions for the diagnosis and treatment of HB.

Although Lindqvist-type {NbO} is a widely used building block in PONbs, vanadoniobates based on {NbO} and/or its derivatives are still very limited. Herein, a discrete vanadoniobate, LiNaK[Li ⊂ VNbO]·45HO (), has been synthesized by a hydrothermal method, which shows a rhombus-like tetrameric structure composed of two {VO(NbO)} and two {Li ⊂ VO(NbO)} subunits derived from {NbO}.

Background & Aims: Hepatoblastoma (HB) is a common pediatric malignant liver tumor that is characterized by a low level of genetic mutations. Alternative splicing (AS) has been shown to be closely associated with cancer progression, especially in tumors with a low mutational burden. However, the role of AS in HB remains unknown.

It is often under- or misdiagnosed in clinical practice, but correct diagnosis can be facilitated by genetic testing. In this study, we examined the genes of three patients diagnosed with GCK-MODY and tested their biochemical properties, such as protein stability and half-life, to explore the function of the mutant proteins and identify the pathogenic mechanism of GCK-MODY.

Neutrophil extracellular traps (NETs) released by activated neutrophils play a critical role in inflammatory injury. We investigated the role of NETs and the underlying mechanism involved in acute lung injury (ALI).

Since 2000 this 'ecological water' (EcoW) has grown to make up 5 % of the total water allocation (around 30 billion m of water). This paper provides the first substantial review of the history, definition, and policy rationale for EcoW in China, and allows us to compare the Chinese program with elsewhere.

In this study, we investigated the mechanism underlying oncogenic role of YAP in HB.
Methods: The expression of YAP in HB tissues was measured through WB and qRT-PCR.
Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) is a highly aggressive malignancy with a poor prognosis. Reprogramming of amino acid metabolism is one of the characteristics of PDAC, in which arginine metabolism is significantly altered in PDAC cells and is involved in important signaling pathways. Current studies have identified arginine deprivation as a potential strategy for PDAC treatment.

Objective: To explore the genetic basis, clinical phenotype and pathogenesis for a child with mosaicism ring chromosome 4.
Methods: Clinical data of the child was collected. Peripheral blood chromosomal karyotype G banding analysis, chromosomal microarray analysis (CMA), fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) were carried out for the child, in addition with a review of the literature.
Objective: To compare the effects of mometasone furoate in combination with loratadine and montelukast sodium on inflammatory factors and pulmonary function in children with allergic rhinitis (AR).
Methods: In this retrospective study, a total of 89 children with AR admitted to our hospital from March 2020 to October 2021 were enrolled. Among them, 47 children who received mometasone furoate combined with loratadine were designated group A, while the other 42 with mometasone furoate combined with montelukast sodium were group B.
Hyperlipidemia, a chronic disorder of abnormal lipid metabolism, can induce obesity, diabetes, and cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases such as coronary heart disease, atherosclerosis, and hypertension. Increasing evidence indicates that phytochemicals may serve as a promising strategy for the prevention and management of hyperlipidemia and its complications. At the same time, the concept of synergistic hypolipidemic and its application in the food industry is rapidly increasing as a practical approach to preserve and improve the health-promoting effects of functional ingredients.
