From dV-Trainer to Real Robotic Console: The Limitations of Robotic Skill Training.

Objectives: To investigate operators' performance quality, mental stress, and ergonomic habits through a training curriculum on robotic simulators.

Design: Forty volunteers without robotic surgery experience were recruited to practice 2 exercises on a dV-Trainer (dVT) for 14 hours. The simulator software (M-score) provided an automatic evaluation of the overall score for the surgeons' performance.

Expression and role of grainyhead-like 2 in gastric cancer.

The aim of this study was to evaluate the expression and role of Grhl2 in gastric cancer. Immunohistochemistry was performed to explore the expression of Grhl2 in gastric cancer and surrounding non-tumor tissues. Moreover, the mRNA and protein expression level of Grhl2 in human immortalized gastric epithelial cell line GES-1 and four gastric cancer cell lines (MGC803, SGC7901, MKN45, HGC27) were detected by qRT-PCR and Western blotting, respectively.
