Two new strains of actinomycetes, CDC186 and CDC192, were isolated from a patient's sputum in Chongqing, China, and were analyzed for their classification.
Phylogenetic analysis showed these strains are closely related to the reference strain DSM 44636, with very high genetic similarity (over 99%).
The strains display unique DNA characteristics, growth conditions, and resistance to specific antibiotics, leading to the proposal of a new species name for them.
