The changes and transformation laws of intermediate liquid-phase products during the anaerobic degradation of lignite by sulfate-reducing bacteria in the formation of hydrogen sulfide play an important role in supplementing and improving the existing theories on the genesis of hydrogen sulfide gas in coal mines. In this paper, HS gas and key intermediate liquid-phase products produced during the anaerobic degradation of lignite by sulfate-reducing bacteria were detected and analyzed by gas chromatography and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. The results showed that the process of hydrogen sulfide production from lignite degradation by sulfate-reducing bacteria can be roughly divided into four stages: slow production phase, rapid growth phase, steady production phase, and slight decline phase.

In the current work, we synthesized an A-D-A smallmolecule photosensitizer, denoted as DPTTIC, and a dual PEG-functionalized pillararene, denoted as WP5-8C-2PEG, and used them to construct novel DPTTIC nanoparticles (NPs) displaying NIR II absorption. New nanoparticles (Y6 NPs) based on the A-DA'D-A fused-ring conjugated small molecule Y6 have been prepared for the combined photothermal and photodynamic therapy of cancer. Y6 NPs show excellent light absorption from 300 to 900 nm, a good photothermal conversion efficiency of 57% and reactive oxygen species generation capability. The high photothermal conversion ability and superior photodynamic activity of Y6 NPs endow them with great potential for cancer therapy.

Mechanically interlocked molecules are a class of smart supramolecular species because of their interesting topological structure and application in various areas, such as biology and nanoscience. In this work, we used "multicomponent reaction" to fabricate a new [2]rotaxane based on pillar[5]arene from different small-sized molecules. The molecular structure of the obtained [2]rotaxane was confirmed by H and C NMR, high-resolution electrospray ionization mass spectrometry, two-dimensional nuclear Overhauser effect spectroscopy, and density functional theory studies.

"Coordination-driven self-assembly" offers us an efficient method to fabricate 3D metallacages and 2D metallacycles with controllable shape and size via simple building blocks. Herein, a new discrete platinum(II) amphiphile (), which contains hydrophilic tris(ethylene oxide) chains and a hydrophobic porphyrin unit, was constructed successfully by using "coordination-driven self-assembly". From various characterization methods, such as UV-vis spectroscopy, dynamic light scattering, transmission electron microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, and small-angle X-ray scattering, we found that can self-assemble into vesicles, curved vesicles with open ends, and at last stable bilayer nanotubes in aqueous solution at room temperature and flexible cross-linked structures at about 60 °C.

Acupuncture can be used to treat various nervous system diseases. Here, 168 vascular dementia patients were orally administered donepezil hydrochloride alone (5 mg/day, once a day for 56 days), or combined with acupuncture at Shenting (DU24), Tianzhu (BL10), Sishencong (Extra), Yintang (Extra), Renzhong (DU26), Neiguan (PC6), Shenmen (HT7), Fengchi (GB20), Wangu (GB12) and Baihui (DU20) (once a day for 56 days). Compared with donepezil hydrochloride alone, P300 event related potential latency was shorter with an increased amplitude in patients treated with donepezil hydrochloride and acupuncture.
