To unravel the responses and internal interactions of the agricultural ecological environment to integrated rice-fish farming, we assessed and compared environmental factor, rice growth performance, and soil microbiome in both integrated rice-yellow catfish farming (IRYF) and rice monoculture (RM) systems.
