Article Synopsis
  • - Large language models (LLMs) can struggle with medical information accuracy, but Retrieval-augmented Generation (RAG) technology enhances their ability to provide accurate answers by integrating external knowledge bases.
  • - The study introduced the Endo-chat application, using departmental data and gastroenterology guidelines to address patient questions about gastrointestinal endoscopy, and compared its effectiveness to traditional methods.
