Background: The fibrosis of pathologic scar (PS) is formed by the excessive deposition of extracellular matrix, resulting in an abnormal scar. Recent clinical tests have indicated that the regulation of PS fibroblast cells (PSF cells) proliferation can serve as an intervention measure for PS. Our work aimed to elucidate the specific mechanism of action of TCF4 on the progression of PS fibrosis.

Background: The present study aimed to explore the regulatory effects of artesunate on macrophage polarization in sepsis.
Methods: Cell models and mice models were established using lipopolysaccharide (LPS), followed by treatment with various concentrations of artesunate. The phenotype of the macrophages was determined by flow cytometry.
Context: Ulcerative colitis (UC) is a recrudescent and chronic inflammatory disease. Artesunate (ART) has shown its anti-inflammatory and antioxidative properties in severe diseases, including UC.
Objective: The present study investigates the molecular mechanisms for effects of ART on UC, and the role of miR-155 in this process.
Objective: Liver is uniquely vulnerable during sepsis. MicroRNA-155 (miR-155) is confirmed to play crucial roles in septic liver injury. The present study aims to investigate the mechanisms of miR-155 in septic liver injury.

Rationale: Hand, foot and mouth disease (HFMD) is caused by enterovirus. The virus may exist in secretions.
Patient Concerns: Five neonates had symptoms of fever and maculopapular rashes involving face, trunk, breech, arms, and legs, especially scattering on palms and feet.
