The present study was aimed to investigate whether Gensini score or SYNTAX score was a valuable tool to predict in-stent restenosis (ISR) in coronary artery disease (CAD) patients with drug-eluting stents (DES) implantation. A retrospective case-control study and a validating retrospective cohort study were designed. All subjects' information was collected from the First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University.

However, most tumors lack actionable alterations, restricting treatment options to cytotoxic chemotherapies for which few data-driven prioritization strategies currently exist. Here, we report an integrated computational/experimental treatment selection approach applicable for both chemotherapies and targeted agents irrespective of actionable alterations.

Background: Transient Receptor Potential Melastatin 4 (TRPM4), a non-selective cation channel, plays a critical role in cardiac conduction abnormalities. Brg1, an ATP-dependent chromatin remodeler, is essential for regulating gene expression in both heart development and disease. Our previous studies demonstrated Brg1 impacted on cardiac sodium/potassium channels and electrophysiological stability, its influence on TRPM4 expression and function remained unexplored.

Methods: Eight medical databases were comprehensively searched for relevant randomized controlled trials (RCTs) as of October 2024. A network meta-analysis (NMA) was performed using frequency models, combining all available direct and indirect evidence from RCTs.
Neurotransmitter receptors are key molecules in signal transmission in the adult brain, and their precise spatial and temporal balance expressions also play a critical role in normal brain development. However, the specific balance expression of multiple receptors during hippocampal development is not well characterized. In this study, we used quantitative in vivo receptor autoradiography to measure the distributions and densities of 18 neurotransmitter receptor types in the mouse hippocampal complex at postnatal day 7, and compared them with the expressions of their corresponding encoding genes.

This study aims to explore the relationships between users' personality traits and sentiment tendencies of user-generated content (UGC).
Method: We crawled 18,686 tweets of 1, 215 users from Twitter to figure out the relationships between personality traits and sentiment tendencies.
Objective: The objective of this study was to develop liposomes (LP) containing a curcumin (CU) analog CA7 to enhance its pharmacokinetic profile and anti-cervical cancer (CC) effects.
Methods: Single-factor and Box-Behnken experiments were conducted to optimize the formulation of CA7-loaded liposomes (CA7-LP). The in vitro release, stability, biocompatibility, and pharmacokinetic of CA7-LP were evaluated.
With the persistent rise in global energy demand, the efficient extraction of petroleum resources has become an urgent and critical issue. Polymer flooding technology, widely employed for enhancing crude oil recovery, still lacks an in-depth understanding of the distribution of residual oil within the microscopic pore structure and the associated displacement mechanisms. To address this, a digital pore network model was established based on mercury intrusion experimental data, and pore structure visualization was achieved through 3Dmax software, simulating the oil displacement process under various polymer concentrations, molecular weights, and interfacial tension conditions.

Traditional hematoxylin and eosin (H&E) staining primarily reveals cellular inflammation with limited detail on fibrosis. To address these issues, we introduce a pioneering label-free quantitative multiphoton fiber histology (MPFH) technique that delineates the intricate characteristics of collagen and elastin fibers for ILD diagnosis.

Growing evidence suggest that alterations in the microbiota-gut-brain (MGB) axis contribute to the development and progression of aMCI. However, little is known about whether and how acupuncture change the MGB axis of aMCI individuals.

The application of solid oxide electrolysis cells (SOECs) for high-temperature CO reduction reaction (CORR) is constrained by the electrochemical activity and stability of the cathode materials. In this study, a series of iron-based perovskite oxides, designed by systematically varying A-site configurational entropy, are investigated as cathode materials for the CORR. Experimental results reveal that these high-entropy materials, derived from LaSrFeO (LSF), exhibit high electrocatalytic activity and durability.

However, the cultivability of chicken gut microbiota is not well understood, limiting the exploration of certain key gut bacteria in regulating intestinal health and nutritional metabolism. This study aimed to examine the cultivability of chicken cecal microbiota and to provide guidance for future chicken gut microbiota cultivation.

Curcumin (CU) possesses antitumor activity but has poor aqueous solubility, low bioavailability, and weak activity. To address this, nine novel monocarbonyl CU analogues were designed, synthesized, and evaluated in the present study.

Voxel-based morphometry (VBM) can distinguish the profiles of these disorders according to gray matter (GM) volumes. We integrated findings from previous VBM studies for comparative analysis and extended the research into molecular profiles to facilitate inspection and intervention.

Methods: We searched the MEDLINE, Web of Science, Embase, Cochrane Library, CINAHL Complete, and ClinicalTrials.gov from inception to January 23, 2024 for all randomized controlled trials (RCTs) of auriculotherapy in the treatment of APP.
Galactose oxidase has long captured the interest of the biocatalysis and biotechnology communities due to its unique catalytic characteristics and versatility with various substrates. In our previous studies, we demonstrated that galactose oxidase GAO-5F from Fusarium odoratissimum can oxidize agarose to produce a polyaldehyde polymer, which can be further crosslinked with gelatin to produce food packaging films. Despite its commendable catalytic performance, GAO-5F falls short of meeting the requirements for industrial applications.
