Successful treatment of SAPHO syndrome with oral abrocitinib: a case report.

Aim: SAPHO (synovitis, acne, pustulosis, hyperostosis and osteitis) syndrome is a rare autoimmune disorder characterized by typical cutaneous lesions (palmoplantar pustulosis and eruptive acne) and osteoarticular symptoms (aseptic osteomyelitis and joint inflammation). This study aims to evaluate the therapeutic efficacy and safety of Janus kinase 1 (JAK1) inhibitor abrocitinib in patients with SAPHO syndrome.

Methods: We presented a patient with SAPHO syndrome with accelerated disease progression who did not respond to traditional therapies.

Preoperative Serum Cystatin C as an Independent Prognostic Factor for Survival in Patients with Renal Cell Carcinoma.

This study aims to evaluate the prognostic significance of preoperative serum cystatin C (Cys-C) in patients with renal cell carcinoma (RCC). We analyzed clinicopathological data and follow-up information of 624 RCC patients who underwent partial or radical nephrectomy at our institution. The optimal cutoff value of Cys-C was determined using X-tile software.

Expression Profile and Bioinformatics Analysis of Circular RNAs in Patients with Vitiligo.

Purpose: Circular RNAs (circRNAs) are abundant, stable, and evolutionarily conserved noncoding RNAs with impacts on cell proliferation, differentiation, invasion, apoptosis, and immunity by acting as an miRNA sponge. This study aimed to investigate the expression of circRNAs in vitiligo and analyze the differentially expressed circRNAs (DEcircRNAs) bioinformatically.

Patients And Methods: Biopsies of five lesional and five nonlesional skins of patients with vitiligo and five healthy skins (control) were harvested in this study.
