The conjugates were mixed with an adjuvant, and mice were immunized 3 times and challenged with 1 week later. Antibody titers were determined by indirect enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA).

The purpose of this study was to investigate the updated incidence rates and risk factors of EC in Nan'ao Island, where the EC incidence rate was chronically the highest in southern China.
