Recent studies have proved that antagonists of angiotensin II type 1 receptor (ATR) and agonists of type 2 receptor (ATR) were able to relieve hypertrophic scar. Therefore, establishing new methods to pursue dual-target lead compounds from Chinese herbs is in much demand for treating scar.

After entering a biological fluid, such as blood, nanoparticles (NPs, such as nanomedical carriers) are quickly coated with proteins, forming a protein interface layer called the protein corona. An in-depth investigation into the protein corona is essential for elucidating the biological ramifications of NPs and their prospective applications within the medical field and beyond.

In this study, the secondary amine cation of N-methyl-1-(naphthalen-1-yl)methylammonium (M-NMA) and the formation dynamics of its corresponding LD perovskite are investigated. The intermolecular π-π stacking of M-NMA and their connection with inorganic PbI octahedrons within the product structures control the formation of LD perovskite.

Over the last six decades, researchers have isolated 425 microorganism-derived bisindole alkaloids (MDBAs). Among them, 187 MDBAs have demonstrated anticancer properties against various in vitro cancer cell lines, primarily by impeding the cell cycle, restraining cell proliferation, and inducing apoptosis and autophagy.

Herein, highly thermal conductive carbon nanotubes (CNTs) reinforced aluminum foam composites were prepared by catalyst chemical bath and subsequent in-situ growth approach. The dense CNTs show the intertwined structure features and construct high-speed channels near the surface of the skeletons for efficient thermal conduction, promoting the transport efficiency of heat flow.

In this study, we developed ligand-modified nanoparticles (NPs) that enable gut-to-liver drug delivery by crossing the GIT and attenuating PC formation. Specifically, mesoporous silica nanoparticles (MSNs) were functionalized with peptides targeting the neonatal Fc receptor (FcRn), capitalizing on FcRn expression in the small intestine and liver for targeted drug delivery.

Methods: We examined the associations between maternal exposure to heat wave during pregnancy and neurodevelopmental delay in young children in a birth cohort study of 67,453 child-mother pairs from Foshan, China.
Colorectal cancer (CRC) ranks third in global incidence and second in mortality. However, a comprehensive predictive model for CRC prognosis, immunotherapy response, and drug sensitivity is still lacking. Various types of programmed cell death (PCD) are crucial for cancer occurrence, progression, and treatment, indicating their potential as valuable predictors.

RNA N4-acetylcytidine (ac4C) modification plays a crucial role in gene expression regulation. However, existing prediction methods face limitations in capturing RNA sequence features, particularly in handling sequence complexity and long-range dependencies. To enhance the accuracy of RNA-ac4C modification sites prediction, this study introduces, for the first time, the transformer-based RNAErnie pre-trained model, which deeply extracts semantic information from RNA sequences.

In current bioinformatics research, spatial transcriptomics (ST) as a rapidly evolving technology is gradually receiving widespread attention from researchers. Spatial domains are regions where gene expression and histology are consistent in space, and detecting spatial domains can better understand the organization and functional distribution of tissues. Spatial domain recognition is a fundamental step in the process of ST data interpretation, which is also a major challenge in ST analysis.
