Methods: A comprehensive search was conducted in PubMed, Web of Science, Embase, Cochrane Library, China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), Chinese Biomedical Literature Database (CBM), VIP Database, and Wanfang Database. Randomized controlled trials (RCTs) on rTMS treatment in Parkinson's disease patients were retrieved, covering the period from the inception of each database to July 2024.
We present a tandem aza-Heck/Suzuki cross-coupling reaction of -phenyl hydroxamic ethers with readily available arylboronic and alkenyl boronic acids. This protocol is enabled by a palladium catalyst paired with chiral phosphoramidite ligands, particularly under mild reaction conditions, yielding efficient and succinct synthetic routes to chiral isoindolinones with high enantioselectivity. Furthermore, this reaction exhibits excellent functional group compatibility and a rich diversity of subsequent transformations.

Methods: One stable centralized water supply point was randomly selected in each township of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. One finished water sample and 1-3 tap water samples were collected at each supply point.
Background: Cardiorespiratory fitness (CRF) serves as a critical measure of the cardiovascular system's efficiency in delivering oxygenated blood to tissues and organs. Understanding the relationship between various activity behaviors and CRF is essential for devising effective health interventions for the older adult population.
Objective: This study aimed to investigate the association between 24-h activity behaviors and CRF in older adult individuals, utilizing compositional data analysis.

The application of solid oxide electrolysis cells (SOECs) for high-temperature CO reduction reaction (CORR) is constrained by the electrochemical activity and stability of the cathode materials. In this study, a series of iron-based perovskite oxides, designed by systematically varying A-site configurational entropy, are investigated as cathode materials for the CORR. Experimental results reveal that these high-entropy materials, derived from LaSrFeO (LSF), exhibit high electrocatalytic activity and durability.

To establish a molecular detection assay for DAAV for further epidemiological investigation and pathogenic mechanism. Here, we designed specific primers and probes according to the sequence characteristics of the newly discovered DAAV and then established a TaqMan real-time PCR method (TaqMan-qPCR) for the detection of DAAV.

Despite its efficacy, adherence to contemporary evidence-based guidelines remains suboptimal. We aimed to identify factors that affect the adherence of staff to applying lung-protective ventilation guidelines by analyzing real-time, continuously monitored ventilation data over a 5-year longitudinal period.

In addition to the commonly detected frameshift mutations in exon12 (NPM1c), previous studies have identified NPM1 gene rearrangements leading to the expression of NPM1-fusion proteins in pediatric AML. However, whether the NPM1-fusions are indeed oncogenic and how the NPM1-fusions cause AML have been largely unknown.

However, screening therapeutic peptides using biochemical assays is expensive, time-consuming, and limited by experimental conditions and biological samples, and there may be ethical considerations in the clinical stage. In contrast, screening therapeutic peptides using machine learning and computational methods is efficient, automated, and can accurately predict potential therapeutic peptides.

In these molecular machines, ketosynthase (KS) domains play a central role, typically by catalyzing decarboxylative Claisen condensation for polyketide chain extension. Noncanonical KS domains with catalytic functions rather than Claisen condensation have increasingly been evidenced, further demonstrating the capability of type I PKSs for structural diversity.

Background: Circumferential pulmonary vein isolation (CPVI) has a high recurrence rate in managing persistent atrial fibrillation (AF). While some studies suggest that augmenting CPVI with additional left atrial BOX ablation can diminish this recurrence rate among patients with persistent AF, this approach remains controversial. This meta-analysis assesses the safety and efficacy of adjunctive left atrial BOX ablation in treating persistent atrial fibrillation.

Nevertheless, tumor associated macrophages (TAMs) experience functional polarization on account of the generation of suppressive metabolites, contributing to impaired antitumor immune responses.
Methods: Hence, metabolic reprogramming of tumor microenvironment (TME) can synergistically improve the efficacy of anti-tumor immunotherapy.
Background: This study delves into the intricacies of resistant hypertension (RH), a prevalent yet enigmatic chronic cardiovascular ailment that is linked to a myriad of complications. Although its full pathogenesis is still shrouded in mystery, the field of proteomics offers a beacon of hope, with its potential to shed light on the proteins that orchestrate the tapestry of life. Harnessing the power of proteomics is essential for demystifying the pathogenesis of RH, enabling more precise diagnostics and treatments, and ultimately improving prognostic outcomes.

Thermoelectrics converting heat and electricity directly attract broad attentions. To enhance the thermoelectric figure of merit, zT, one of the key points is to decouple the carrier-phonon transport. Here, we propose an entropy engineering strategy to realize the carrier-phonon decoupling in the typical SrTiO-based perovskite thermoelectrics.
