Objectives: The pairing of immunotherapy and radiotherapy in the treatment of locally advanced nonsmall cell lung cancer (NSCLC) has shown promise. By combining radiotherapy with immunotherapy, the synergistic effects of these modalities not only bolster antitumor efficacy but also exacerbate lung injury. Consequently, developing a model capable of accurately predicting radiotherapy- and immunotherapy-related pneumonitis in lung cancer patients is a pressing need.

Effects of Bio and water-soluble fertilizers on sweet potato yield, quality and soil properties in a continuous cropping system under plastic film-mulched drip-fertigated field conditions.

To verify an effective approach for alleviating problems associated with the consecutive monoculture of sweet potato, five fertilizer treatments were designed under plastic film-mulched, drip-fertigated conditions in fields continuously planted with sweet potato over five years. These treatments included: (1) no fertilizer application, (2) basic application of water-soluble (WS) fertilizer, (3) basic application of biofertilizer (BF) and WS fertilizer, (4) split application of WS fertilizer, and (5) combined basic application of BF and split application of WS fertilizer. The effects of BF and WS fertilizer applications on yield, quality, and soil properties were evaluated.

This study was designed to investigate the effectiveness, safety, and cost-effectiveness of norvancomycin in the management of acute hematogenous osteomyelitis in pediatric patients. We conducted a retrospective study on cases of osteomyelitis in pediatric patients treated with norvancomycin or vancomycin at Hebei Children's Hospital from January 2015 to February 2023. The patients were categorized into the norvancomycin group and the vancomycin group.

The Association Between Temporomandibular-Related Quality of Life and Oral Behaviours: A Cross-Sectional Study in Patients With Temporomandibular Disorders.

Objectives: Oral behaviours (OB) are some oral overuse behaviours which could be observed in patients with temporomandibular disorders (TMD). This study aims to investigate the association between TMD-related quality of life and OB to enhance understanding of these behaviours.

A Novel Scale for Diagnosis of Pulmonary Ground-Glass Nodules: A Multicenter and Ambispective Cohort Study.

Background: A screening tool was devised to aid the diagnosis and treatment of ground-glass nodules (GGNs).

Methods: The current ambispective cohort study included retrospective collation of 20 variables synthesizing a patient's clinical characteristics, serum tumor markers, and CT results, which allowed division into noninvasive (benign, atypical adenomatous hyperplasia, and adenocarcinoma in situ) and invasive (minimally invasive and invasive adenocarcinomas) tumors to build a prediction nomogram and GGN screening scale. The model was verified internally.

Effect of weighted blankets on sleep quality among adults with insomnia: a pilot randomized controlled trial.

Background: Weighted blanket is an emerging non-pharmacotherapy for sleep disorders, but its effect on sleep among relatively healthy adults with insomnia remains uncertain. This study aimed to evaluate whether weighted blankets could better improve sleep quality and sleep-related symptoms among adults with insomnia.

Methods: In a prospective, pilot randomized controlled trial conducted in three tertiary hospitals in China, participants with clinical insomnia were randomized (1:1) to receive weighted blanket intervention or normal blanket intervention for 1 month by random-number tables.
