A linear spot-type multipass cell-enhanced fiber-optic photoacoustic gas microprobe is proposed. To further reduce the volume of the gas chamber and enhance the photoacoustic signal, we designed the cross section of the photoacoustic tube as a slit with a height of 10 mm and a width of 1.5 mm.

Cantilever-Enhanced Fiber-Optic Photoacoustic Spectrophone for Low-Pressure Gas Detection.

A cantilever-enhanced fiber-optic photoacoustic (PA) spectrophone is reported for trace gas detection at a low-pressure environment. A cantilever-based fiber-optic Fabry-Perot (F-P) interferometer (FPI) is utilized for simultaneous measurement of air pressure and PA pressure. Since the cantilever resonance frequency follows air pressure linearly, the fundamental frequency intensity modulation (1-IM) technique is applied to scan the frequency response of the solid PA signal from tube wall absorption for tracking the cantilever resonance frequency in real time.

The Association of Fructose Metabolism With Anesthesia/Surgery-Induced Lactate Production.

Background: In elderly individuals, excessive lactate levels in the brain may be associated with the development of cognitive impairment after surgery, including delayed neurocognitive recovery (dNCR). Since the origin of this increased lactate is unknown, here we assessed associations between metabolic pathways and postoperative dNCR.

Model discrimination and calibration were evaluated using the area under the receiver operating characteristic curve (AUROC) and a calibration curve.

Chronic stress impairs the structure and function of astrocytes in many brain regions such as media prefrontal cortex (mPFC) in multiple neuropsychiatric conditions, but the astrocytic dynamics on the timescale of behavior remains unclear. Here, we recorded mPFC astrocytic activity in freely behaving mice and found that astrocytes are activated immediately by different aversive stimuli.

Melatonin attenuates intermittent hypoxia-induced cognitive impairment in aged mice: The role of inflammation and synaptic plasticity.

Ultraviolet color image sensor based on CsPbBr inorganic perovskite nanocrystal film.

Ultraviolet and color imaging require different image sensors and optical channels, which results in large size, complex structure, and high cost of imaging systems. Here, we report a novel, to the best of our knowledge, image sensor that combines ultraviolet and color imaging functions. The fabrication of this image sensor is achieved by coating high-transparency CsPbBr perovskite nanocrystals in a polymer film on the color filter layer of a silicon-based detector.

Based on the characteristics of drug clinical applications, this study aims to uncover the compatibility mechanism of SGI by investigating pharmacokinetic (PK) and pharmacodynamic (PD) differences between Danshen glucose injection (DGI), Ligustrazine glucose injection (LGI) and SGI groups after multiple dosing during the pathological state from the perspective of metabolic enzymes. Compared to the LGI group, the absorption (C) and exposure (AUC) of ligustrazine increased significantly, and the protein expression of CYP1A2, CYP2C11 and CYP3A2 in the SGI group decreased significantly.
