Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is a prevalent clinical condition, which markedly affects patients' quality of life, commonly leading to post‑thrombotic syndrome. The present study aimed to elucidate the intricate interplay between murine double minute‑2 (MDM2) and phosphatase and tensin homolog (PTEN), thus shedding new light on their role in the pathogenesis of DVT. The results showed that both MDM2 and PTEN were upregulated in venous blood samples obtained from patients with DVT.

According to Park and colleagues, it is advisable to monitor the levels of triglycerides, alanine aminotransferase, and aspartate aminotransferase every 5 to 6 months. Poor spectral stability seriously hinders the wide application of laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS), so how to improve its stability is the focus, hotspot, and difficulty of current research. In this study, to achieve high precision quantitative analysis under complex detection conditions, utilizing the fusion of multi-dimensional plasma information and the integration of physical models and algorithmic models, a spectral bias-error stepwise correction method of plasma image-spectrum fusion based on deep learning (SBESC-PISF) was proposed. In this method, based on the statistical properties of LIBS spectra, the actual obtained spectra were decomposed into three parts: the ideal spectral intensity related only to the element concentration, and the spectral bias and spectral error caused by the fluctuation of complex high-dimensional plasma parameters.

Despite its involvement in various cancers, the function of the deubiquitinase USP1 (ubiquitin-specific protease 1) is unexplored in cholangiocarcinoma (CCA). In this study, we provide evidence that USP1 promotes CCA progression through the stabilization of Poly (ADP-ribose) polymerase 1 (PARP1), consistent with the observation that both USP1 and PARP1 are upregulated in human CCA.
