Methods: Randomized controlled trials of neoadjuvant immunotherapy in treating patients with NSCLC were comprehensively retrieved from electronic databases, eligible studies, previous systematic reviews and meta-analyses, guidelines, and conference abstracts. The meta-analysis was performed by the Stata/SE 12.
This paper introduces a complex network of interaction between human behavior and virus transmission, in which group synchronous behavior influences cure rates. The study examines the influence of individual group behavior on virus transmission, the reciprocal influence of virus transmission on individual group behavior, and the effects of evolving network structures on cluster synchronization. It also analyzes the conditions necessary for virus extinction or the occurrence of a pandemic, as well as the conditions for achieving individual group synchronization.

Targeting this pathway is a promising therapeutic strategy for pancreatic cancer; however, few successful approaches have been reported, and currently used molecular inhibitors of this pathway exhibit limited clinical benefits. In this study, we identified a previously uncharacterized microprotein, Notch1 degradation-associated regulatory polypeptide (N1DARP), encoded by LINC00261.

While the addition of PEDOT:LS can enhance the conductivity of the gel, it unavoidably disrupts the gel network and negatively affects its mechanical properties. The preparation process and freezing resistance of the hydrogels also pose significant challenges for their practical applications.

Atopic dermatitis (AD) is a chronic inflammatory skin disease. Microbial infection, immune system dysfunction, and skin barrier defunctionalization have been regarded as the central events in AD pathogenesis. Cold atmospheric plasma (CAP) is an unbound system composed of many free electrons, ions, and neutral particles, with macroscopic time and spatial scales.

This study investigated the role of glioma-associated oncogene family zinc finger 1 (GLI1), a transcription factor in the sonic hedgehog (SHH) signaling pathway, in ACP. We discovered that GLI1 regulates the expression of IL-6, thereby triggering inflammatory responses in ACP and influencing the tumor's progression.

This study focuses on the hemagglutinin (HA) consensus-based approach towards developing a more broadly protective swine influenza vaccine against various H3 strains circulating in domestic pig populations. By computationally analyzing >1000 swine H3 full-length HA sequences, we generated a consensus H3 and expressed it in the context of influenza A WSN/33 reverse genetics system.

Our previous study showed that OTA principally induces liver inflammation by causing intestinal flora disorder, especially Bacteroides plebeius (B. plebeius) overgrowth.

Over the past decades, rivers have delivered imbalanced nutrient loads to coastal marine ecosystems due to human activities, which leads to serious regional or global eutrophication problems. The Minjiang River is heavily influenced by human activities. To understand the changing characteristics of nutrient transport ratios in the Minjiang River waters, we measured the seasonal variations of carbon, nitrogen, phosphorus and silicon nutrients in the lower surface waters of the Minjiang River between July 2019 and July 2020.

We first change the bioeconomic model into a normal version by virtue of the differential-algebraic system theory. The local steady-state of equilibria and Hopf bifurcation could be derived by varying time delay.

Methods: From April to May 2019, 1179 freshmen majoring in public health, nursing, chemistry and physical education were randomly sampled from one university in Hefei City, Anhui Province, and Shangrao City, Jiangxi Province, respectively. A baseline questionnaire survey was conducted.
Study Design: Single-center, retrospective study.
Objective: Hemivertebra resection is the only treatment option for congenital cervical scoliosis (CCS). However, this procedure is complex and technically demanding.
Objectives: To identify barriers and facilitators of clinical practice guidelines (CPGs) implementation, and map those factors to the theoretical domains framework (TDF) and behavior change wheel (BCW).
Methods: We conducted an umbrella review of systematic reviews. PubMed, Embase, and the Cochrane Library were searched.

Increasing the hydrophilicity of the carrier surface could efficiently accelerate the attachment and growth of microorganisms. Here, the surface of polypropylene (PP) fiber carrier was modified with polydopamine (PDA) and calcium (Ca(II)) to enhance microbial attachment and toxicity resistance.

To make a high-quality comparison of the short- and long-term outcomes of single-port laparoscopic gastrectomy versus multiport laparoscopic gastrectomy, we performed this meta-analysis, which only included propensity score-matched studies and randomized controlled trials comparing single-port laparoscopic gastrectomy with multiport laparoscopic gastrectomy for patients with gastric cancer.
Methods: Data were retrieved from the electronic databases PubMed, EMBASE, Medline, Cochrane Library, CNKI, Wanfang and VIP up to January 2023, and the data included the outcomes of treatment after single-port laparoscopic gastrectomy and multiport laparoscopic gastrectomy.

In the era of precision medicine, many biomarkers have been discovered to be associated with drug efficacy and safety responses, which can be used for patient stratification and drug response prediction. Due to the small sample size and limited power of randomized clinical studies, meta-analysis is usually conducted to aggregate all available studies to maximize the power for identifying prognostic and predictive biomarkers. However, it is often challenging to find an independent study to replicate the discoveries from the meta-analysis (e.
