As one of the earliest identified susceptible animals for the SARS-CoV-2, cats are also the vulnerable hosts for feline coronaviruses, ie feline enteric coronavirus (FECV). Here, to understand the cross-presentation of coronavirus-derived peptides by cat major histocompatibility complex molecule feline leucocyte antigen (FLA) class I, unpredictable natural peptide motifs presented by FLA-K*00701 and FLA-E*00301 were identified through peptide elution and further confirmed by the structural determination of the 2 FLA class I molecules. Based on these precise motifs of FLA class I peptides, the atlas of cross-presenting peptides from different coronaviruses in cats were sketched with 3 hotspots in C-terminal half of ORF1ab protein.

Importantly, the successful use of this probe for monitoring capsaicin in real samples suggests its potential for use in the food sector.

Cardiac developmental patterns exacerbate the progression of heart disease characterized by myocardial cell loss, ultimately leading to cardiac dysfunction and heart failure. Myocardial infarction causes the death of partial cardiomyocytes, which triggers an immune response to remove debris and restore tissue integrity.

Here, we collect 2754 files acquired by data independent acquisition (DIA) and paired 2638 DDA files from mouse liver digests using 21 mass spectrometers across nine laboratories over 31 months. Our data demonstrate that DIA-based LC-MS/MS-related consensus QC metrics exhibit higher sensitivity compared to DDA-based QC metrics in detecting changes in LC-MS status.

Our study aimed to investigate unresectable GC from an imaging perspective combined with clinicopathological variables to identify patients who were most likely to benefit from immunotherapy.
Method: Patients with unresectable GC who were consecutively treated with immunotherapy at two different medical centers of Chinese PLA General Hospital were included and divided into the training and validation cohorts, respectively.
Effective delivery of sufficient doxorubicin (DOX) molecules in tumors is hindered by the complex biological barriers. Herein, a DOX-loaded sodium alginate-based injectable hydrogel (DOX@MHB-conj-SA) was designed by the Michael addition reactions between the sulfydryl in cross-linkers and the double bonds in a derivative of sodium alginate. The DOX@MHB-conj-SA was administrated to CT26 tumor-bearing mice via peritumoral injection for locoregional treatment of colorectal cancer by inducing apoptosis and pyroptosis.

Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma (NHL) remains a significant challenge in hematology, with chemotherapy and radiation therapy as conventional treatment options, albeit with limitations such as adverse effects. Immunotherapy, particularly bispecific antibodies (BsAbs) T cell engagers (TCEs), has emerged as a promising approach. Despite their potential, TCEs pose challenges, including adverse events like cytokine release syndrome.

In this study, a doxorubicin-loaded injectable hydrogel based on hyaluronic acid (DOX-MCHA) was fabricated for locoregional chemotherapy and inhibiting the metastasis of breast cancer.

The therapeutic potential of human umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells (hUC-MSCs) and their secreted extracellular vesicles (EVs) in alleviating IR injury across various cell types including neuronal cells has been documented. However, the underlying mechanisms through which hUC-MSCs and hUC-MSC-EVs protect neuronal cells from IR-triggered damage are not well understood.

Then, the mass concentrations of PM and WSI were determined using the weight method and ion chromatography, respectively, and the pollution characteristics and sources were analyzed. Furthermore, the causes of the high acidity of PM in spring were discussed.

Control of immune metabolism is believed to be important in regulating fundamental immunological processes. Here, we developed a macrophage metabolic reprogramming hydrogel composed of modified silk fibroin (Silk-6) and poly-l-lysine (ε-PL) and further integrated with M2 Macrophage-derived Exo (M2-Exo), named Silk-6/ε-PL@Exo.

The non-gravitational components of the MEMS-IMU have a significant effect on the accuracy of attitude estimation. To improve the attitude estimation of low-dynamic vehicles under uneven soil conditions or vibrations, a robust Kalman filter (RKF) was developed and tested in this paper, where the noise covariance was adaptively changed to compensate for the external acceleration of the vehicle.

Blood infection caused by is one of the most common causes of human sepsis, which seriously threatens the life of patients. The immune status of peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) based on single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) in acute stage and recovery stage of sepsis caused by bloodstream infection has not been studied.

Similar to HLA-A*0101, which is one of the earliest identified HLA alleles among the human population, HLA-A*2601 possesses a similar characteristic for the binding peptide and acts as a prevalent allomorph in HLA-I. In this study, we found that, compared with HLA-A*0101, HLA-A*2601 individuals exhibit distinctive features for the T cell responses to SARS-CoV-2 and influenza virus after infection and/or vaccination.

Methods: Incident and death cases of thyroid cancer were retrieved from the Guangzhou cancer registry. The joinpoint regression models were used to estimate the incidence and mortality trends.
Background: Trace elements play an important role in reflecting physical metabolic status, but have been rarely evaluated in diabetes ketoacidosis (DKA). Since clinical biochemical parameters are the first-line diagnostic data mastered by clinical doctors and DKA has a rapid progression, it is crucial to fully utilize clinical data and combine innovative parameters to assist in assessing disease progression. The aim of this study was to evaluate the levels of trace elements in DKA patients, followed by construction of predictive models combined with the laboratory parameters.
