Trombosis is seen in children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia during or after L-asparaginase treatment. Posterior reversible encephalopathy syndrome (PRES) is a complex syndrome characterized with sudden hypertension, headache, nausea, vomiting, alteration in the state of consciousness, vision defect and seizures. The cases related to this syndrome have been reportedly seen after eclampsia, organ transplantation, immunsuppressive treatments, autoimmune diseases and chemotherapy.
