Background: This study aimed to assess the quality and readability of large language model-generated responses to frequently asked questions (FAQs) about Kienböck's disease (KD).
Methods: Nineteen FAQs about KD were selected, and the questions were divided into three categories: general knowledge, diagnosis, and treatment. The questions were inputted into the Chat Generative Pre-trained Transformer 4 (ChatGPT4) webpage using the zero-shot prompting method, and the responses were recorded.
Purpose: Superb microvascular imaging (SMI) and Shear wave elastography (SWE) are newly developed ultrasonographic diagnostic tools used to support the diagnosis of De Quervain tenosynovitis (DQT). The aim of this study was to examine the capacity to differentiate between the wrist with DQT and the healthy wrist, as well as the potential for predicting the disease's severity using B-mode ultrasonography, SWE, and SMI.
Methods: A total of 19 cases with unilateral clinical DQT were included in the prospective study.
Background: The earthquake disaster that occurred on February 06, 2023, caused serious destruction and loss of life in the south of Türkiye. The purpose of this article consisting of two interconnected parts is to report the experience of our orthopedics clinic, which is located just on the border of the disaster area. The subject of the first part of the study is the characteristics of ortho-pedic traumas in earthquake victims and the treatment methods applied.

Patients And Methods: Between January 2012 and December 2018, a total of 71 patients (58 males, 13 females; mean age: 41±12.1 years; range, 20 to 66 years) with extensive volar forearm lacerations treated in our center were retrospectively analyzed.
Background: The increase in orthopedic injuries after earthquakes imposes a significant burden on the health system. However, the impact of earthquakes on outpatient admissions remains unclear. This study compared patient admissions to the orthopedics and traumatology outpatient clinics before and after earthquakes.

In total, 36 patients (33 males and three females; mean age, 11.6 years) were included.

Antibiotic resistance and bacterially induced bone destruction can have very serious consequences. We hypothesized that calcium phosphate-based bone graft substitution with silver ion doping would simultaneously treat bone infection and the bony defect in the chronic osteomyelitis.

Methods: Data of 39 patients (mean age, 44.7 years; males, 56.
Background: The aim of this randomized, double blind, controlled study was to assess the effect of intravenous coadministration of small dose midazolam with ketamine on postoperative pain and spinal block level.
Methods: Sixty patients undergoing arthroscopic knee surgery under spinal anesthesia were randomized into three groups: Group I (saline control); group II (ketamine 0.15 mg/kg i.
Background: Clinical effects, recovery characteristics, and costs of total intravenous anesthesia with different inhalational anesthetics have been investigated and compared; however, there are no reported clinical studies focusing on the effects of anesthesia with propofol and desflurane in patients undergoing laparoscopic cholecystectomy.
Objective: The aim of this study was to determine the effects of total intravenous anesthesia with propofol and alfentanil compared with those of desflurane and alfentanil on recovery characteristics, postoperative nausea and vomiting (PONV), duration of hospitalization, and gastrointestinal motility.
Methods: Patients classified as American Society of Anesthesiologists physical status I or II undergoing elective laparoscopic cholecystectomy due to benign gallbladder disease were enrolled in the study.
