Background: The optimal restoration protocol for endodontically treated teeth (ETT) remains a subject of debate. This survey aims to assess the current level of awareness, knowledge, and prevailing opinions among dental practitioners in China regarding the application of endocrown versus the post/core/crown ensemble for post-endodontic restoration strategies.
Methods: A validated questionnaire, encompassing three sections, was distributed electronically to dentists practicing in China.
Brown spot (BS) is caused by necrotrophs fungi () which affects rainfed and upland production in rice, resulting in significant losses in yield and grain quality. Here, we explored the meJA treatment that leads to rice resistance to BS. Fibrillins (FBNs) family are constituents of plastoglobules in chloroplast response to biotic and abiotic stress, many research revealed that and are not only associated with the rice against disease but also with the JA pathway.

However, there was no report about binuclear Os complex for combined therapy of PDT and PTT which could have a synergistic effect and improve the effectiveness. Herein, we synthesis of mono/dinuclear Os complexes (OsY1, OsY2) with dual PDT/PTT capabilities under a single near-infrared (NIR) excitation wavelength.

: Cervical cancer is the fourth most common cancer among women worldwide. The zinc finger transcription factor 281 (ZNF281)/ZBP-99 protein specifically binds to GC-rich DNA sequences and regulates gene expression, and it has been shown to promote tumor progression. In this study, we aim to investigate the function and molecular mechanism of ZNF281 in uterine cervical carcinoma.

Comprehensive assessment of LTC service demands by including the time and cost analysis is crucial to inform the planning and financing of LTC resources, yet such research is lacking in China. Our research team has developed a quantitative index system of the medical and nursing services needs of older adults (QISMNSNE) based on the framework of Time-Driven Activity-Based Costing (TDABC), providing a valuable tool for measuring LTC service needs.

To expand the remote study toolkit, we have previously developed homeRNA, which allows for at-home self-collection and stabilization of blood and demonstrated the feasibility of using homeRNA in high temperature climates. Here, we expand upon this work through a systematic study exploring the effects of high temperature on RNA integrity through in-lab and field experiments.

This study introduced electrodes and iron oxides into sediments to construct electron network transport chains to supplement electron acceptors. The sediment total organic carbon (TOC) removal efficiencies of closed-circuit (CC) and closed-circuit with Fe addition (CC-Fe) were estimated to be 1.

To investigate the effects of preconception mitochondrial DNA copy number (mtDNAcn) on the association between prenatal air pollutants exposure and PTB risk, a total of 1871 expectant mothers from six regions in Henan Province were recruited. Information regarding air pollutants was obtained from 151 environmental monitoring sites, and relative mtDNAcn was evaluated using real-time PCR analysis.

Here, we explored whether the administration of hUC-MSCs could still improve ALF when the cytokine storm is fully developed.
Method: We treated ALF monkeys with peripheral delivery of hUC-MSCs at 48 hr after toxin challenge.
Statement Of Problem: High-level evidence regarding the accuracy and adaptation of 1-piece endodontic crowns fabricated by using 3-dimensional (3D) printing technology is lacking.
Purpose: The purpose of this in vitro study was to compare the accuracy and adaptation of 1-piece endodontic crowns produced through 3D printing and computer-numerical-control milling technology and to explore the influence of trueness on 1-piece endodontic crown adaptation.
Material And Methods: One-piece endodontic crowns were prepared for a typodont right mandibular first molar, scanned with a 3Shape E3 scanner, and designed with a computer-aided design software program.
Background: Epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG), the primary active compound in green tea, is recognized for its significant anti-inflammatory properties and potential pharmacological effects on inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). However, comprehensive preclinical evidence supporting the use of EGCG in treating IBD is currently insufficient.
Purpose: To evaluate the efficacy of EGCG in animal models of IBD and explore potential underlying mechanisms, serving as a groundwork for future clinical investigations.
Extracellular matrix (ECM) remodeling is accompanied by the continuous synthesis and degradation of the ECM components. This dynamic process plays an important role in guiding cell adhesion, migration, proliferation, and differentiation, as well as in tissue development, body repair, and maintenance of homeostasis. Nanomaterials, due to their photoelectric and catalytic properties and special structure, have garnered much attention in biomedical fields for use in processes such as tissue engineering and disease treatment.

To preserve cellular homeostasis, the autophagy-lysosomal pathway (ALP) is crucial for neurons to dispose of these substances. Many studies have shown that bone mesenchymal stem cell exosomes (BMSC-Exos) can reduce CIRI.

The procedure is commonly utilized in multiple fields, including neurobiology, immunology, and microbiology, and has emerged as a key focus of life science research. However, a thorough and impartial analysis of the existing state and trends of SCS-related research is lacking.

The complete mitochondrial genomes of two spine-color individuals, red and white, of the tropical sea urchin species (Linnaeus, 1758) were sequenced on Illumina system platform. The red-spined species had a genome size of 15,774 bp, while the white-spined species had a genome size of 15,723 bp. Both genomes contained 13 protein-coding genes, 2 rRNA genes, and 22 tRNA genes.

Methods: The original English scale was translated, synthesized, and back-translated according to the Brislin translation model: the translated scale was cross-culturally adapted through expert correspondence and pretesting to form the Chinese version of the scale; a convenience sampling method was used to survey 486 nursing interns in Liaoning, Guangdong, and Anhui regions to assess the reliability and validity of the scale.
Results: The Chinese version of the scale consists of 14 items in three dimensions.
Developing cost-efficient bifunctional water splitting catalysts is crucial for sustainable hydrogen energy applications. Herein, ruthenium (Ru)-incorporated and phosphorus (P)-doped nickel molybdate (Ru-NiMoO(P) ) nanosheet array catalysts are synthesized. Due to the synergy of Ru clusters and NiMoO(P) by the modulated electronic structure and the rich active sites, impressively, Ru-NiMoO(P) exhibits superior OER (194 mV @ 50 mA cm ) and HER (24 mV @ 10 mA cm ) activity in alkaline media, far exceeding that of commercial Pt/C and RuO catalysts.

The decrease in the podocyte's lifespan and health-span that typify healthy kidney aging cause a decrease in their normal structure, physiology and function. The ability to halt and even reverse these changes becomes clinically relevant when disease is superimposed on an aged kidney. RNA-sequencing of podocytes from middle-aged mice showed an inflammatory phenotype with increases in the NLRP3 inflammasome, signaling for IL2/Stat5, IL6 and TNF, interferon gamma response, allograft rejection and complement, consistent with inflammaging.
