Among the various aflatoxin B1 (AFB1) assays, performing accurate detection is difficult because false positives and false negatives are frequent due to limited sensitivity, expensive equipment, or inadequate pretreatment during operation. Here, an "off-on" switch-type electrochemiluminescence (ECL) aptasensor armed with cobalt-sulfur quantum dots was encapsulated in hollow cobalt-layered double hydroxide nanocages as an enhanced luminescent probe (Co-LDH@QDs), and a ferrocene-modified aptamer (Fc-APT) was used as a luminescent quencher. In general, when Fc-APT was hybridized with complementary DNA modified with a DNA nanotetrahedron, electron transfer between ferrocene and Co-LDH@QDs was facilitated, leading to efficient quenching of the ECL intensity into an "off" state in the absence of AFB1.

Epithelial cell adhesion molecule (EpCAM), which is overexpressed in breast cancer cells and participates in cell signaling, migration, proliferation, and differentiation, has been utilized as a biomarker for cancer diagnosis and therapeutic prognosis. Here, a dual-signal readout nonenzymatic aptasensor is fabricated for the evaluation of EpCAM at the level of three breast cancer cell lines. The central principle of this enzyme-free aptasensor is the use of double hook-type aptamers (SYL3C and SJ3C2)-functionalized magnetic iron oxide (FeO) as capture probes and quasi-CoFe prussian blue analogs (QCoFe PBAs) as nonenzymatic signal probes for colorimetric and electrochemical analysis.

Background: The carcinogenic transcription factor c-Myc is the most aggressive oncogene, which drive malignant transformation and dissemination of triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC). Recruitment of many cofactors, especially WDR5, a protein that nucleates H3K4me chromatin modifying complexes, play a pivotal role in regulating c-Myc-dependent gene transcription, a critical process for c-Myc signaling to function in a variety of biological and pathological contexts. For this reason, interrupting the interaction between c-Myc and the transcription cofactor WDR5 may become the most promising new strategy for treating c-Myc driven TNBC.

A miniature optical-sectioning fluorescence microscope with high sensitivity and resolution would enable non-invasive and real-time tissue inspection, with potential use cases including early disease detection and intraoperative guidance. Previously, we developed a miniature MEMS-based dual-axis confocal (DAC) microscope that enabled video-rate optically sectioned microscopy of human tissues. However, the device's clinical utility was limited due to a small field of view, a non-adjustable working distance, and a lack of a sterilization strategy.

This paper introduces a novel high-certainty visual servo algorithm for a space manipulator with flexible joints, which consists of a kinematic motion planner and a Lyapunov dynamics model reference adaptive controller. To enhance kinematic certainty, a three-stage motion planner is proposed in Cartesian space to control the intermediate states and minimize the relative position error between the manipulator and the target. Moreover, a planner in joint space based on the fast gradient descent algorithm is proposed to optimize the joint's deviation from the centrality.

Recent studies have suggested that ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme E2D1 (UBE2D1) is involved in tumor progression. In this study, we found that UBE2D1 expression was upregulated in breast cancer (BC) and was related to the prognosis of BC patients. Through in vitro and in vivo experiments, we demonstrated the aberrant expression of UBE2D1 promoted the proliferation and migration of BC cells, and the IGF2BP2-mediated N6-methyladenosine (m6A) modification increased the stability of UBE2D1 mRNA.

Named entity recognition aims to identify entities from unstructured text and is an important subtask for natural language processing and building knowledge graphs. Most of the existing entity recognition methods use conditional random fields as label decoders or use pointer networks for entity recognition. However, when the number of tags is large, the computational cost of method based on conditional random fields is high and the problem of nested entities cannot be solved.
