The environment where workers perform their activities and the way the work is accomplished can harm workers' health. This study aimed to discuss the systematization of nursing care in occupational health by means of a theoretical, reflective essay on this topic. The discussion was supported by three guiding points: occupational health nursing; the role of occupational health nurses; and the applicability of the systematization of nursing care in occupational health.

Method: descriptive, cross-sectional, quantitative study with 45 nurses of a hospital of high complexity in the interior of São Paulo state. The study used the Competences Evaluation Questionnaire, translated and validated in Brazil, composed of 27 items in five domains: professionalism, communication, management, nursing process and problem solving.
Objective: To analyze the meanings assigned by people with systemic arterial hypertension to health education actions in the waiting room.
Method: This is an analytical qualitative study, held in 2016 with 19 people with arterial hypertension from a health unit. The data were collected in households, through a semi-structured interview and field notes, recorded on audio, transcribed and organized by thematic analysis, being analyzed considering Vygostky's Cultural-Historical Learning Theory.
Objective: to analyze the occurrence of work accidents and the self-esteem of nurses in hospitals of a municipality of Minas Gerais.
Method: descriptive-analytical and cross-sectional study developed with 393 nursing professionals from three hospitals of a municipality in southern Minas Gerais. The Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale and a questionnaire to characterize the population and work accidents were used for data collection.
Objective: To assess the frequency of the leadership practices performed by the manager nurses of hospital institutions and their association with the variables of the socioprofessional profile.
Method: Cross-sectional, descriptive, correlational study conducted in four hospitals in a city of the state of São Paulo. A sociodemographic questionnaire and the instrument Leadership Practices Inventory were used.
Objective: to analyze nurses' managerial skills in the hospital setting, their perception of their own education and the relevance of training for their professional practice.
Method: qualitative study based on the dialectical hermeneutics framework. Thirty-two nurses from three hospitals in the Brazilian state of Minas Gerais contributed to the study by taking part in six focus groups.

Qualitative research using a dialectics view; the objective is to analyze the demands and the expectations from the setting of managerial practices in view of the Pedagogical Project and the strategies which may or may not favor the transforming praxis. It involves 11 students, 12 professors, and 12 service nurses who are the participants in the teaching-learning process of managerial knowledge, in the interceding space, in the fields of practice and in the curricular training programs, both in the hospital environment and in the basic health services and of the Nursing graduation course from a Federal University, from the city of Alfenas-MG. It uses the collecting technique by focal group and the analysis of the contents is subsided by two great discussions: background and work.
