The substantial generation of textile waste (TW) and red mud (RM) has resulted in significant resource wastage and environmental challenges. Co-utilization technology of solid waste is an effective approach to improve waste utilization efficiency. In this study, RM catalytic pyrolysis experiments of TW were conducted using TG-FTIR and Py-GC-MS for liquid fuel production, and TW and RM were recycled simultaneously.

Recent research indicates that utilizing CO as a pyrolysis gasification medium diminishes CO emissions and concurrently augments the value of the resultant pyrolysis gasification products. This paper reviews recent advancements in the pyrolysis gasification of organic solid wastes under a CO atmosphere.

Flynn-Wall-Ozawa (FWO) and Kissinger-Akahira-Sunose (KAS) methods combined with the master-plots method were employed to investigate the pyrolysis kinetics and reaction mechanisms of waste automotive paint sludge. Three reaction stages and three reaction peaks in stage 2 were distinguished for both OAPS and WAPS degradation.

Based on Fick's laws of diffusion, the diffusion model and diffusion-degradation model of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon (PAH) emission from the bricks were deduced. The degradation and 64-day emission of PAHs in solid bricks made of oil-based drill cuttings were observed experimentally.

Method: A total of 56 patients with a large inner canthus were randomly selected, and a bird-beak-type z-shaped asymmetrical flap was used on the nasal side of the lower eyelid to repair and reconstruct the inner canthal folds. The inner canthal point was located according to physiological aesthetics.
Volatile organic compounds (VOCs) diffused from paint sludge are potential hazard contributing significantly to environmental pollution and exposure to them can cause severe health issues. In this paper, a diffusion-controlled model was firstly developed for characterizing the emission behaviors of cumulative VOCs from automotive solvent-based paint sludge based on the worst field management scenario. The presented model is characterized by two key parameters: the diffusion coefficient (D) and the initial emittable concentration (C), which can be simultaneously obtained by our proposed ER-history method.

It's more cost effective and powerful for mass-transfer emission models to describe the emission characteristic of VOCs than emission chamber studies. In this review, the existing main physical mechanism-based models for predicting VOCs emissions from dry solid building materials have been discussed, as well as their differences and similarities.

Burning bricks with OBDC is a promising co-disposal method; however, organic pollutants emitted during this process have not received sufficient attention. In this study, the composition and combustion characteristics of OBDC were determined, and the emissions of typical organic pollutants when burning bricks with the addition of OBDC were investigated; these included benzene series compounds (BTEXs), non-methane total hydrocarbons (NMHC), polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), and polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins and polychlorinated dibenzofurans (PCDD/Fs).

Methods: A total of 70 enrolled patients were randomly divided into 2 groups: the platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) combined with high-density fat transplantation group (combined group) and the conventional fat-granule transplantation group (control group; n = 35 in each group). In the combined group, an appropriate amount of autologous fat was extracted and centrifuged, and the lower layer of high-density fat was taken and mixed with PRF isolated from whole blood for autotransplantation.

In addition, the potential ecological risk of manure-borne steroid estrogens to local surface water systems from applying animal manure was preliminarily assessed. As a result of the rapid development of animal production, the excretions of manure-borne steroid hormones increased in all the three northeast provinces.

Natural steroid estrogens such as 17beta-estradiol (E2) with low concentrations (ng x L(-1)) can adversely affect the reproductive health of aquatic organisms. Batch equilibrium experiments were conducted to quantify the sorption of E2 to two agricultural soils and a river sediment from different physiographic regions in northern China, a critical step in predicting transport of estrogens in runoff from agricultural fields. Meanwhile, the effect of pig manure and its compost borne dissolved organic matter (DOM) on E2 sorption was investigated.

The abundance and phylogenetic composition of bacterial community in leachate of semi-aerobic and anaerobic landfill were compared through real-time polymerase chain reaction and denaturing gradient gel electrophoresis. In semi-aerobic landfill scenario, the bacterial 16S rRNA copy numbers in leachate had no significant reduction from initial stage to stable period. In the scenario of anaerobic landfill, the largest bacterial 16S rRNA gene copy number was found in leachate at initial stage, but it reduced significantly at stable period.
