Triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) is a highly heterogeneous breast cancer subtype, which is also characterized by the aggressive phenotype, high recurrence rate, and poor prognosis. Antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) is a monoclonal antibody with a cytotoxic payload connected by a linker. ADC is gaining more and more attention as a targeted anti-cancer agent.

NK3-4 is a plant growth-promoting rhizobacterium. In this study, the effects of NK3-4 on rice growth and gene transcription were determined. The results indicated that a seed soaking treatment and a pre-germination seed treatment using NK3-4 promoted rice growth, especially spraying rice seedlings with NK3-4 increased the root number and root length by 34.

Furanocoumarins and flavonoids have various important biological activities and wide application. In the present study, a rapid and reliable supercritical fluid chromatography method was proposed for the separation of 10 target components including 8 furanocoumarins and 2 flavonoids. After detailed condition optimization, the 10 target compounds can be baseline separated on a Trefoil CEL1 (3.

Cortex Fraxini is an important traditional Chinese herbal medicine with various medical functions. Aesculin and aesculetin are the main effective components of Cortex Fraxini. The fluorescence signals of the two compounds have a high degree of overlap with each other, making quantitative analysis difficult with conventional analytical methods.

Article Synopsis
  • The paper introduces a hybrid technique that combines interval partial least squares (iPLS) and gradient descent (GD) to create quantitative models for analyzing target compounds in different spectral data.
  • The iPLS method is utilized for selecting the best variables, while the GD algorithm is employed to build models with these selected variables, optimizing factors like interval number and learning rate for better accuracy.
  • The effectiveness of this new iPLS-GD method is tested on three spectral datasets (NIR, H NMR, and EEM), showing it outperforms traditional methods in both modeling and predictive capabilities for identifying compounds in complex samples.

A fast and simple ultra-high performance supercritical fluid chromatography method has been developed for the determination of six analytes, namely (paeonol, coumarin, cinnamic alcohol, cinnamic acid, paeoniflorin, and amygdalin) in Guizhi Fuling capsule and tablet samples. The influence of the key chromatographic parameters for the separation purposes was evaluated. The optimal column was Trefoil CEL1 column.

A novel QTL (qSCN-PL10) for SCN resistance and related candidate genes were identified in the soybean variety Pingliang xiaoheidou, and plant basal immunity seems to contribute to the SCN resistance. Soybean cyst nematode (SCN, Heterodera glycines Ichinohe) is one of the most devastating soybean pests worldwide. The development of host plant resistance represents an effective strategy to control SCN.

Because of a general lack of knowledge regarding the precise anatomy of the seminal vesicle system, efforts to use transurethral seminal vesiculoscopy (TSV) are currently constrained. We investigated 26 normal adult male specimens. Contrast medium was injected into the seminal vesicle system in 18 specimens and the openings of the ejaculatory ducts were examined with an operating microscope.

Introduction: Quantitative (1)H-NMR (qNMR) is a well-established method for quantitative analysis and purity tests. Applications have been reported in many areas, such as natural products, foods and beverages, metabolites, pharmaceuticals and agriculture. The characteristics of quantitative estimation without relying on special target reference substances make qNMR especially suitable for purity tests of chemical compounds and natural products.

CDC-2-like kinase 1 (CLK1) plays a critical role in regulating pre-RNA splicing and post-transcriptional gene expression. Two distinct transcripts of the porcine CLK1 gene, known as full-length CLK1 and truncated CLK1 (CLK1 ( T )), were identified by in silico cloning, RT-PCR, and RACE. The entire cDNA sequence of full-length CLK1 was 1771 bp, containing a 1455 bp ORF encoding a deduced protein of 484 amino acids.
