Background: The proportion of very old adults in the population is increasing, representing a significant challenge. Due to their vulnerability, there is a higher frequency of unplanned hospitalizations in this population, leading to adverse events. Digital tools based on artificial intelligence (AI) can help to identify early signs of vulnerability and unfavorable health events and can contribute to earlier and optimized management.

Therefore, assessing a patient's confidence in controlling their symptoms and facilitating their concussion recovery is an important component of treatment. Previously, no measures existed to assess symptom-specific self-efficacy (SE) in pediatric concussion recovery.

This pre-post observational study was conducted in the College of Dentistry, Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University, Saudi Arabia, between November 2022 and September 2023. Eligible participants were those aged between 26 and 80, in need of prosthetic treatment, and able to complete the questionnaire voluntarily.

The objectives of the current research were the detection, molecular characterization, and isolation of EHV-1 and EHV-4 circulating within different equine populations in Egypt, either clinically or in apparently healthy horses.
Material And Methods: A total of 120 field samples were collected, and DNA was extracted.
Purpose: To assess the influence of denture brushing on the surface roughness, hardness, and color stability of conventional, thermoformed, and CAD-CAM denture base materials.
Materials And Methods: Seven different denture base materials were included in this study; conventional heat-polymerized acrylic resin (PMMA) served as control, polyamide, acetal, two categories of milled acrylic discs (AvaDent and IvoCad), and two categories of 3D-printed resins (NextDent and FormLabs). The specimens were constructed according to manufacturers' instructions and then subjected to simulated brushing (20,000 cycles).
Background: Little is known about how the COVID-19 pandemic impacted older adults admitted to the hospital with fall-related injuries. This research sought to determine if there was a difference in patient characteristics and hospital outcomes among older adults with fall-related injuries during the COVID-19 pandemic compared to a non-pandemic period.
Methods: A retrospective chart review of patients 65 years or older admitted for traumatic falls before and during COVID-19 was undertaken.
Denture base fracture is one of the most annoying problems for both prosthodontists and patients. Denture repair is considered to be an appropriate solution rather than fabricating a new denture. Digital denture fabrication is widely spreading nowadays.

In this investigation, we synthesized and studied three distinct nanomaterials: solid lipid nanoparticles (SLNPs), chitosan nanoparticles (CSNPs), and carbon nanotubes (CNTs), either alone or loaded with two antifungals, nystatin, and fluconazole. The purpose of this study is to investigate the different properties of the produced nanomaterials, either alone or in combination with antifungals.

Calcium-alginate beads were used for effluents treatment in this study. Young male rats were also allowed to drink effluents at different concentrations (10%, 50%, 100%) and treated 100% effluents with calcium-alginate for 11 weeks.

Terpenoid compounds, particularly monoterpenes (C10) and sesquiterpenes, are the most important and abundant among these active substances (C15). Terpenes play a variety of roles and have beneficial biological properties in plants.

Materials And Methods: Heat-polymerized acrylic resin specimens ( = 100/test) were prepared and sectioned to half creating two repair gaps: 2.5- and 0 mm with 45 degrees beveling.
Irradiated waste high-density polyethylene@Zn/ionic liquid novel composite well-fabricated via coacervation method was irradiated by gamma-irradiation and studied the effect of that radiation on the desulfurization process. The prepared composites were characterized by various analytical techniques as follows: X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier-Transform infrared (FT-IR), X-ray photoelectron spectrometer (XPS), scanning electron microscope (SEM), High Resolution Transmission Electron Microscopy (HRTEM), N-adsorption-desorption isotherm, and thermal gravimetric analysis (TG/DTA). The adsorptive desulfurization process of benzothiophene (BT) and dibenzothiophene (DBT) which are harmful compounds in diesel model fuel was investigating using the irradiated and unirradiated composite.

Methods: This study included 7009 women from both urban and rural areas scattered across 40% of the Egyptian provinces. The 5-year risk categories were defined as low risk (≤ 1.
The current work aimed to synthesize selenium and zinc nanoparticles using the aqueous extract of as a valuable medicinal plant. The prepared nanoparticles were characterized by TEM, zeta potential, and changes in the phytochemical constituents. Hence, the phenolic, flavonoid, and tannin contents were reduced in the case of the prepared samples of nanoparticles than the original values in the aqueous extract.

Last decades, microsatellite and retrotransposons are well known as a significant diverse component of the structural evolution. They represented the most potent elements for assessing sustainable utilization of the complicated classification in citrus breeding.

Earlier, Cleomaceae was included in the family Capparaceae; then, it was moved to a distinct family after DNA evidence. Variation in habits and a bewildering array of floral and fruit forms contributed to making Capparaceae a "trash-basket" family in which many unrelated plants were placed.

Purpose Of The Review: A concussion is a mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI) that results in a change in how a person feels or functions after a force transmitted to the head. Nearly 10% of all sports-related injuries are mild traumatic brain injuries. Concussion/mTBIs have accounted for more than 3 million emergency department visits between 2005 and 2009 and present as an important public health concern.
