Effects of delay to stroke unit admission in patients with ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke.

Objective: To determine the association between delay in transfer to a central stroke unit from peripheral institutions and outcomes.

Methods: We conducted a retrospective cohort study of all patients with acute stroke, admitted to a comprehensive stroke center (CSC) from three emergency departments (EDs), between 2016 and 2018. The primary outcomes were length of stay, functional status at 3 months, discharge destination, and time to stroke investigations.

Synthetic 2D Mammography Versus Standard 2D Digital Mammography: A Diagnostic Test Accuracy Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis.

The use of synthetic 2D mammography (SM) with digital breast tomosynthesis (DBT) in place of standard 2D digital mammography (DM) may reduce radiation dose without sacrificing accuracy. The purpose of our study was to compare the diagnostic accuracy of SM, DM, SM with DBT, and DM with DBT for breast cancer detection. A search of MEDLINE, Embase, and Cochrane databases was performed for relevant articles published up to September 11, 2019.

Characterization of Pb₂₄Te₇₆ quantum dot thin film synthesized by inert gas condensation.

Air-stable and thermal-stable lead telluride quantum dot was successfully prepared on glass substrate by inert gas condensation (IGC) method. Argon (Ar) is the inert gas used during deposition process with a constant flow rate of 3 × 10(-3)Torr. Phase transformation and disorder effect on optical and electrical properties of Zn3P2 thin films.

The phase transformation of zinc phosphide (Zn(3)P(2)) thin films was detected through isochronal annealing process. The effects on isochronal annealing on the internal structural, optical and electrical properties of deposited Zn(3)P(2) thin films have been discussed. The films were prepared by thermal evaporation under constant preparation conditions of vacuum 1.

Collection, analysis and cryopreservation of semen from Malayan gaur (Bos gaurus hubbacki): A preliminary study.

The Malayan gaur (Bos gaurus hubbacki) or Seladang is classified as vulnerable by the International Union for Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources (IUCN). The Malayan gaur is mainly distributed in the tropical woodlands of Peninsular Malaysia and Southern Thailand. The aim of this study was to collect, analyze and cryopreserve the semen of wild Malayan gaur.
