[Clinical and prognostic value of lesions in the gastrointestinal tract in systemic vascular purpura].

Aim: To evaluate clinical peculiarities and prognostic value of abdominal syndrome in adult patients with systemic vascular purpura (SVP).

Material And Methods: Incidence, clinical picture, complications of abdominal syndrome, its relations with principal extraintestinal manifestations of SVP were studied in 125 SVP patients. Absorption and barrier functions of the small intestine, their correlations with clinical activity of the disease were investigated in 32 SVP patients with no clinical signs of intestinal affection.

[Spectro-fluorescence analysis of ALA-induced protoporphyrin IX in differential diagnosis of stomach disease].

The results of examination of 47 patients with confirmed diagnosis of cancer of the stomach (21 patients) or 26 suspects were analyzed. 2-4 hours after oral taking of Alasence in the dose 5-10 mg/kg, gastroscopy with spectrofluorescence analysis of ALA-induced protoporphyrin IX was performed. [Endobronchial laser therapy in complex preoperative preparation of patients with lung diseases].

The method of endobronchial laser therapy with the use of photosensitiser-photosense (phthalocyanine aluminum)--was used since 1998 for the first time in faculty surgical clinic, as preoperative preparation in 36 patients with surgical diseases of the lungs (malignant and benign tumors and chronic inflammatory diseases). The method aimed at elimination of postoperative pyogenous complications and improvement of the respiratory system functional. The method consists in introduction into the organism by various ways the photosensitizing preparation photosence, followed by irradiation of the right and left parts of bronchial tree by low intensity laser light, (wave length 675 mm) through dispersing light guide, introduced through the flexible bronchoscope to the areas of the ostia of the lobar bronchi.

[Endobronchial use of low-frequency ultrasound and ultraviolet laser radiation in the complex treatment of patients with suppurative bronchial diseases].

The efficiency of endobronchial therapy with low-frequency ultrasound (LFUS) and ultraviolet laser radiation (UVLR) were studied in patients with pyoinflammatory diseases of the lung. A hundred and sixty two patients with chronic bronchitis (CB) and bronchoectatic disease (BD) were clinically followed up. For higher efficacy of early gastric carcinoma diagnosis by endoscopy, the authors suggest a method of autofluorescent diagnostics. The work analyses the results of spectroscopy conducted at the Faculty Surgical Clinic of the Moscow Medical Academy in 105 patients with various pulmonary diseases.
