Eye acupuncture for pain conditions: a scoping review of clinical studies.

Background: Chinese eye acupuncture, focuses on treating different diseases by applying needle stimulation around the orbit of the eye. Since 1970, it has been used in China for the management of pain-related disorders. This scoping review systematically collected clinical studies on the use of eye acupuncture to treat pain conditions and identify any adverse events.

Design of adaptive backstepping congestion controller for TCP networks with UDP flows based on minimax.

The congestion control problem of TCP network systems with user datagram protocol (UDP) flows is investigated in this paper. A nonlinear TCP network model with strict-feedback structure is first established. The unknown UDP flow is regarded as the external disturbance, and the maximum UDP flow is calculated by using the minimax approach.

TROP2 overexpression promotes proliferation and invasion of lung adenocarcinoma cells.

Recent studies suggest that the human trophoblast cell-surface antigen TROP2 is highly expressed in a number of tumours and is correlated with poor prognosis. However, its role in non-small cell lung carcinoma (NSCLC) remains largely unknown. Here we examined TROP2 expression by immunohistochemistry in a series of 68 patients with adenocarcinoma (ADC).

[A multi-center, randomized control trial on clinical research education to diabetes patients].

Objective: To assess the effect of implementing education about clinical research in changing the awareness and attitudes of diabetic patients.

Methods: A randomized control trial was implemented in 258 patients with diabetes from 6 hospitals. The participants were assigned to the intervention group (129 cases, who received education about the clinical research) and the control group (129 cases, who received no intervention).
