Wetlands, known as the "kidney of the earth", are an important component of global ecosystems. However, they have been changed under multiple stresses in recent decades, which is especially true in the Yellow River Delta. This study examined the spatiotemporal change characteristics of wetlands in the Yellow River Delta from 1980 to 2020 and predicted detailed wetland changes from 2020 to 2030 with the patch-generating land use simulation (PLUS) model under four scenarios, namely, the natural development scenario (NDS), the farmland protection scenario (FPS), the wetland protection scenario (WPS) and the harmonious development scenario (HDS).

Representation learning on temporal interaction graphs (TIG) aims to model complex networks with the dynamic evolution of interactions on a wide range of web and social graph applications. However, most existing works on TIG either (a) rely on discretely updated node embeddings merely when an interaction occurs that fail to capture the continuous evolution of embedding trajectories of nodes, or (b) overlook the rich temporal patterns hidden in the ever-changing graph data that presumably lead to sub-optimal models. In this paper, we propose a two-module framework named ConTIG, a novel representation learning method on TIG that captures the continuous dynamic evolution of node embedding trajectories.

14-3-3η can regulate the cell cycle, immunity, inflammation and the secretion of matrix metalloproteinases, while it may also be involved in the development of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and promote bone injury. Therefore, the present meta-analysis focused on the dysregulated serum levels of 14-3-3η and its association with osteoporosis in patients with RA. Deubiquitinase (DUB) dysregulation is closely associated with multiple diseases, including tumors. In this study, we used data from The Cancer Genome Atlas and Gene Expression Omnibus databases to analyze the expression of 51 ubiquitin-specific proteases (USPs) in gastric cancer (GC) tissues and adjacent non-neoplastic tissues. Four previously undescribed and highly oxygenated α-pyrone-containing mycotoxins designated citreoviridins (E‒H), and an unreported eremophilane-type sesquiterpenoid namely aureoterrolide N, were isolated from the culture broth of Aspergillus aureoterreus. Those isolates were inferred from extensive spectroscopic methods and theoretical computation, where their absolute configurations were unambiguously determined by coupling constants following an empirical rule for the acyclic vicinal diol, theoretical ECD calculation, and NMR computation using the GIAO method and DP4 analysis. Among them, citreoviridins E‒H are four stereoisomers of a citreoviridin derivative, featuring a methylated α-pyrone, an oxidized polyene linker, and a tetrahydrofuran ring.

Objective: Salidroside is an important plant-derived aromatic compound with diverse biological properties. The main objective of this study was to synthesize salidroside from tyrosol using UDP-glucosyltransferase (UGT) with in situ regeneration of UDP-glucose (UDPG).

Results: The UDP-glucosyltransferase 85A1 (UGT85A1) from Arabidopsis thaliana, which showed high activity and regioselectivity towards tyrosol, was selected for the production of salidroside.

A rapid and mild protocol for the exhaustive deoxygenation of various aromatic ketones to corresponding alkanes was described, which was mediated by TiCl and used ammonia borane (AB) as the reductant. The research on intrinsic flame retardant has become a hot topic in the field of flame retardant. The synthesis of reactive flame-retardant monomer is one of the effective methods to obtain an intrinsic flame retardant. In addition, in view of the small molecular flame retardant easily migrates from the polymer during the use process, which leads to the gradual reduction of the flame retardant effect and even the gradual loss of flame retardant performance, and the advantages of atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP) technology in polymer structure design and function customization, we first synthesized reactive flame retardant monomer 6-(hydroxymethyl)dibenzo[c,e][1,2]oxaphosphinine 6-oxide (FAA-DOPO), then synthesized polystyrene bromine (PS-Br) macromolecular initiator by ATRP technology, and finally obtained block copolymer polystyrene--poly{6-(hydroxymethyl)dibenzo[c,e][1,2]oxaphosphinine 6-oxide} (PS--PFAA-DOPO) by the polymerization of FAA-DOPO initiated by macromolecular initiator PS-Br by ATRP technology.

Background: Dual antiplatelet treatment has been shown to lower the risk of recurrent stroke as compared with aspirin alone when treatment is initiated early (≤24 hours) after an acute mild stroke.
