Methods: Women included in the PREvention of PostPartum (PREPP) diabetes study were diagnosed with GDM according to EASD 1991 criteria (GDM; n = 93) or only WHO 2013 criteria (GDM; n = 174). Both groups were further stratified by BMI, and BMI-matched normoglycemic pregnancy controls were included (n = 88).

Methods: 327 patients were admitted because of asymptomatic shortening of the cervix in the second and third trimester of pregnancy. Clinical data such as age, cervical length, gestational age at admission and at delivery and vaginal microbiologic findings were collected and analyzed.
Aim: The purpose of this study was to evaluate clinical, patient rated and radiological outcome of the scaphoid trapezium pyrocarbon implant (STPI) at a minimum of three years follow-up.
Methods: Consecutive patients operated with the STPI due to scaphotrapeziotrapezoidal (STT) arthritis between 2012 and 2019 were included. Patients were evaluated preoperatively and annually after surgery for range of motion, grip strength, key pinch, quick-DASH, pain, and satisfaction.

Due to its high barrier function and different diffusion characteristics, skin governs the efficacy of these active ingredients and a bioavailability in the epidermal and dermal tissue.
Objective: In order to characterize the vertical and lateral movement of molecules into and inside the skin, the diffusivity of active ingredients with different physicochemical properties and their penetration ability in different dermal skin layers was investigated.
Purpose: Results from large scale cardiovascular outcome trials in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (DM2) have found that sodium-glucose cotransporter 2 inhibitors (SGLT2i) reduce cardiovascular death and hospitalization for heart failure, but the mechanisms behind the beneficial cardiovascular effects are not fully understood. We tested the hypothesis that the SGLT2i, empagliflozin, improves non-endothelial dependent coronary microvascular function, thereby leading to better cardiac function.
Methods: Patients with DM2 followed at the endocrinology outpatient clinic at Bispebjerg University Hospital were included in a double blinded, placebo-controlled cross-over study.
