Riehl's melanosis (RM) is a pigmentary disorder, more common in individuals with dark skin phototypes, considered a form of pigmented contact dermatitis. In this paper we present a case of RM due to the rubber component of a work facial mask in which dermoscopy and patch test were the most important tools to help physicians in diagnosis. In addition, we reviewed the main dermoscopic clues that may be useful in differential diagnosis with other facial pigmentary disorders.

Sporadic hidradenitis suppurativa (spHS) is a multifactorial disease in which genetic predisposition is intertwined with environmental factors. Owing to the still-to-date limited knowledge of spHS genetics, we calculated polygenic scores (PGSs) to study the genetic underpinnings that contribute to spHS within European demographic. A unique collaboration of multi-disciplinary experts from the European Association of Dermato-Oncology (EADO), the European Dermatology Forum (EDF), and the European Organization of Research and Treatment of Cancer (EORTC) was formed to make recommendations on cutaneous melanoma diagnosis and treatment, based on systematic literature reviews and the experts' experience. Cutaneous melanomas are excised with one to two-centimeter safety margins. For a correct stage classification and treatment decision, a sentinel lymph node biopsy shall be offered in patients with tumor thickness ≥ 1.
