The Phosphate-Benzimidazole hybrid nanocomposite as heterogeneous catalysts has demonstrated a high catalytic activity for the Knoevenagel condensation in ethanol as an ecological solvent. It has several advantages such as light reaction conditions, a simple and ecological working procedure.
