We present a prospective review of our first 40 consecutive Oxford unicompartmental knee replacements for anteromedial osteoarthritis from a small District General Hospital performing an average of 8 operations each year. At an average follow-up of 7.5 years (6-10 years), no revisions were undertaken with a significant improvement in the Oxford and American Knee Score at review.
