Pyrabactin or Actin Resistance1/PYR1-Like/Regulatory Components of abscisic acid (ABA) Receptors (PYR/PYL/RCARs, referred to as PYLs) are direct receptors of ABA that function pivotally in the ABA-signaling pathway. Previously, we discovered that CmPYL7 was strongly upregulated by cold stress in oriental melon (Cucumis melo). In this study, we demonstrated that CmPYL7 was strongly induced by cold treatment (Cold), Cold+ABA, and Cold+fluridone (Flu, an ABA inhibitor) treatments, while the expression level of CmPYL7 under Cold+Flu is lower than that of cold treatment.

Background: Pulmonary tumor thrombotic microangiopathy (PTTM) is a rare malignancy-related respiratory complication, demonstrating rapid progression of pulmonary hypertension (PH) and respiratory failure. Although a number of treatments have been attempted for patients diagnosed with or suspected of having PTTM, successful-treated cases of PTTM were mainly from imatinib therapy, which was a PDGF receptor inhibitor. Anlotinib was a novel tyrosine kinase inhibitor that targets VEGFR, FGFR, PDGFR, and c-kit.

Background: Pulmonary fungal disease is an emerging issue in immunocompetent patients, for whom the characteristics are only partially understood.

Methods: We conducted a single-center retrospective study of histologically verified pulmonary fungal disease in Eastern China from 2006 to 2014 to understand the demographics, clinical manifestations, therapeutic approaches, and factors associated with prognosis in this population. All cases were diagnosed according to the 2008 European Organization for the Research and Treatment of Cancer/Invasive Fungal Infections Cooperative Group and the National Institute of Allergy and Infection Diseases Mycoses Study Group definition criteria.
