Multisystem inflammatory syndrome of childhood (MIS-C) is a recently described entity in pediatrics post-COVID-19 pandemic. Hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (HLH) is a clinical syndrome caused by an unregulated proliferation of macrophages as well as T lymphocytes.
