Characterization of microplastics in digestive tract of commercial fish species from the Oman Sea.

Microplastics (MPs) content of the digestive tract of two commercial fish from the northern shores of the Oman Sea were investigated. The MPs were characterized by optical microscopy, fluorescent microscopy, and SEM-EDX for their number, shape, size, and color. Polymer composition was analyzes using micro-Raman spectroscopy (RMS).
