Objective: Sperm freezing is considered as an effective way in assisted reproductive technology (ART) programs, it has detrimental effects on sperm function, due to the production of reactive oxygen species (ROS). This study aimed to investigate the potential of Mitoquinone (MitoQ) in inhibiting the production of mitochondrial ROS during sperm freezing.

Methods: A total of 20 human normozoosperm samples were collected for this study.

Background: Gestational diabetes is one of the most common metabolic disorders during pregnancy. Some studies have reported the effect of vitamin D deficiency on the incidence of this disorder. Therefore, the purpose of the present study was to determine the effect of vitamin D supplementation on fasting blood glucose (FBG) levels, fasting blood insulin (FBI) levels and insulin resistance index (HOMA-IR) (primary outcomes) and symptoms of depression, musculoskeletal pain, frequency of gestational diabetes and the frequency of abortion (secondary outcomes).

The effect of vitamin D on sleep quality: A systematic review and meta-analysis.

Poor sleep quality is a common problem in the general population that affects the quality of life of individuals. This systematic review aimed to determine the effect of vitamin D on sleep quality (primary outcome) and side effects (secondary outcome). A systematic search was performed using Cochrane Library, PubMed, Embase, Web of Sciences, Scopus, Google Scholar, SID, and Magiran databases with no limit at the time of publication.
