Objective: to investigate the morphological and immunohistochemical features of placental damage due to theincorporation of 137Cs depending on the scenario of pregnancy completion.

Materials And Methods: The study material consisted of placentas from 60 women with reproductive losses inanamnesis and signs of termination of the current pregnancy (first group) and placental samples from 30 women with an uncomplicated gestation and an unencumbered anamnesis (control group). In experiment was investigated ultrastructure of the capillaries endothelial cells and histological peculiarities of muscular tissue on various stages after transplantation of hemopoietic stem cells of fetal liver (HSCFL). There was proved, that in ischemic environment HSCFL stimulate processes of angiogenesis, and in the case of transplantation into intact muscular tissue they are differentiating into the tissue macrophages, not interfering with muscular tissue structure.

The work includes a research of morphological and immune-histochemical specifics of baby rats' cerebral structures in the conditions of experimental hypoxia model and with the administration of Cerebrocurin. It was ascertained that the most pronounced changes in the form of pericellular and perivascular edema, spongiform loci and loci of necrosis, with the phenomena of apoptosis and aponeuroses, occurred during severe hypoxia. Administration of Cerebrocurin in baby rats, which experienced moderate hypoxia, causes a decrease in pathological changes in cerebral structures and the approximation of the level of CD95 APO-1/Fas and Bcl-21 gene expression to their level in intact animals.

Biopsy of chorion early in the course of pregnancy is of great diagnostic value. Morphological, electron microscopic, and morphometric findings for the shaggy chorion during the I to II trimesters of pregnancy show that in women aged 35 to 45 years with physiological pregnancy changes occur in all structures of the placental barrier as compared to young women. During the I and II trimesters of pregnancy, those women who range from 35 to 45 years old exhibit disturbances in the processes of chorion vascularization, with the compensatory and adaptive reactions developing on the cellular and subcellular levels.
