Bilingual Abstract Semantic Associative Network Training (BAbSANT): A Polish-English case study.

Introduction: This article presents a novel approach to anomia therapy (i.e., BAbSANT: Bilingual Abstract Semantic Associative Network Training) for bilingual persons with aphasia (B-PWA) that capitalizes both on lexico-semantic theories in bilingualism and general theories of semantic organization and learning.

[Current therapeutic problems in the treatment of infectious diarrheal diseases in children].

82 children, not older than 2 years, with enteritis are divided in two groups. Fluid- and electrolyte therapy is the same in both groups. In one group the usual antibiotic treatment was given, the other group get a combination drug: metabolic substances of physiologic enteric bacteria and a sulfonamide with very low absorption rate.

[Treatment of cholecystopathies by Fumaria nebulisate].

In 85 patients with cholecystopathies the therapeutic effect of the Fumaria-preparation Oddibil was tested. The therapy was successful alltogether in 70%, in dyskinesias of biliary tract in more than 80%. The optimal therapeutic result was obtained after 10 days on an average.
