Among 160 laparoscopies 58 were performed in oncological patients. The diagnosis of abdominal tumor was supported in 18 patients, the diagnosis was rejected - in 13, pinpointed further - in 15, primarily established- in 12 patients. Of 58 examined patients distal metastases were detected in 21, that made it possible to obviate an unnecessary laparotomy.
