In this study, we present a novel and ultrasensitive magnetic lateral flow immunoassay (LFIA) tailored for the precise detection of zearalenone, a mycotoxin with significant implications for human and animal health. A versatile and straightforward method for creating non-covalent magnetic labels is proposed and comprehensively compared with a covalent immobilization strategy. We employ the magnetic particle quantification (MPQ) technique for precise detection of the labels and characterization of their functionality, including measuring the antibody sorption density on the particle surface.

Photometric (turbidimetric) analysis was carried out using the Labsystems (Finland) iEMS Reader plate photometer and Russian Analitika BACT software. The results of traditional analysis and the new rapid method developed by Ecotest were in good correlation, the differences did not surpass the magnitude of errors of measurements.

The energy loss within the shift appeared to vary from 800 to 1200 kcal, that within the day--from 2,500 to 2,900 kcal. The examinees demonstrate lack of physical training that affects the functioning of cardiovascular system.

On the basis of the clinical, experimental-psychological and electroencephalographic examinations of 173 patients with portal hypertension (intrahepatic--110 and extrahepatic--63) the authors elucidated the regularities of the formation of mental disorders, their clinical characteristics and the course following surgical treatment. The asthenic syndrome with marked vegetative disturbances was the most prominent feature in the clinical picture. Patients with hepatic cirrhosis were characterized by a more severe asthenia and greater intensity of vegetative symptomatology as compared to patients with an extrahepatic form of portal hypertension.

The effect of threonine technical sources on the homoserine biosynthesis by the threonine auxotroph Brevibacterium flavum 2T when cultivated on sucrose and acetic acid containing media was investigated. Various threonine sources (corn extract and fodder yeast, microbial biomass and soybean meal hydrolyzates) prepared by means of different hydrolyzing agents (acids, enzymes, autolysis) were used. The most effective substrate was protein--vitamin concentrate hydrolyzate, particularly combined with corn extract in the ratio 1: 0,25-0.

It was demonstrated that acetate provided the predominant synthesis of homoserine to a far greater extent than sucrose (with the weight/weight ratio of homoserine : lysine being 2.5-5.

The lysine synthesis by the culture M. glutamicus T-3 on nutrient media with varying molasses concentrations was studied during cultivation under different aeration conditions. With an increase in the nutrient concentration the relationship between the lysine yield and aeration rate became very manifest.
